At 18-months old Jackson's insurance company listed him with a pre-existing condition: ear infections. Starting in 2010 insurance company's were banned from denying children for preexisting conditions. As Jackson's mom says:

The story doesn't make sense. Did the Coffmans change health insurers after their son was born? What was the final outcome of their appeal? Appears to have been an administrative error. More details please.

I agree with @jimmmyz169 " obama campaign, when you guys start running campaign ads on tv instead of airing negative ads like the republicans are right now, getting these stories of individuals out there would be awesome! i love these!

I understand that insurance companies must make a profit to stay in business, but they have become too greedy! Thank God for the Affordable Care Act & hopefully our country will be intelligent enough to keep Obama in office for another 4 years!
