"Five years ago today, a few thousand of us gathered in Springfield, Illinois, to launch an improbable campaign for president.
The task was to build a grassroots movement capable of making the kind of change we believe in.
You've got to see this video about that journey -- it will make you smile.
From the very start this has been an experiment in our political process, testing whether ordinary people really can still come together to change this country.
We proved that it's possible. But we've also learned that entrenched interests adapt and claw back even harder, which means this election will be even more of a challenge.

I disagree people who say he is just a "celebrity". He is just more human and down to earth than all the other candidates. (in my opinion)
I voted for Mr Obama in '08 because WE needed change, NOW. And now after 4 years of getting NO help from most of so called 'elected reps', you know, the ones that are there FOR America,

I remember so many moments, so much work and hope, and the thrill of being in the stadium when he accepted the nomination. I've never stopped volunteering for these ideals and won't until reelected! Hope I can count on you too!
:) I'm not sure he's *the best yet. But that's only because of the serious competition - Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Eisenhower, Reagan, Clinton. Even so, I think he's one of the best and a serious contender for *the best.
In my mind, believing in you and believing in us go hand in hand. You cannot have one without the other.

Honestly, before watching this I had no clue what to think about Obama except for what I've heard from several other people which are mostly negative things. After watching this video, I've realized that Obama has done more positive things for our country than any of the running opponents could ever do. This just goes to show that you can't always trust what you hear. Vote Obama 2012!!

The jobs graft should be in every add to remind people of the facts that matter.... moving from a loss of over 5 million jobs to a gain of almost 5 million is a change of close to 10 million
