I almost want to give up as I have failed my reverse manoeuvres twice I have a re test this Thursday so hopefully fingers crossed

How common is it to faili absolute loved driving on the road but that reverse is so hard
I think you would be surprised how many fail, question is how many people have the balls to admit it mate.

Passed my class 1 on the 8/4/2024 and still can't get a job. Tried agency's and direct contact to company's and all saying at least 3 months experience. Feeling like I wasted my time and money.
Don't give up mate talk to people join groups and find out who is willing to take on new drivers, you will find something i promise you!

I am just going through my training.
I believe you have to look at it that the HGV drivers are getting older and there will be even a higher shortage as a lot of very experienced drivers will retire as stated on my cpc course today so a job will come just be patient mate

Having obtained your Class 1 licence remember it's Vocational.Its not yours by right.Drive an behave like a clown commission will suspend you an even revoke it.
