@@adityaramadhand2023 watch a video with the lyrics so you can read it all. He tells his story so well.
@@adityaramadhand2023 So Good Kid MAAD City is a Cinematic album that takes place during one day in Kendricks life. MAAD City is a song that takes place after Kendrick is jumped by two gang bangers (he was set up by this girl he's been tryna fuck, Sherane). The MAAD City song encapsulates the absolute madness of Compton, which is represented as pure paranoia in the song. That's why the beat is very unnerving and Kendricks voice sounds highly paranoid as if he's going through a nightmare
Who's here in 2024 rocking with Shaq!

I don't know if anyone else pointed out the bar but "aye y'all, Duck." Duck obviously in "ducking" and his momma calling him by his middle name Duckworth...nice little bar
Lamar is his middle name and Duckworth is his actual last name. Kendrick Lamar sounds better
thats clever as hell
Also cuz the free lunch they were eating was duck
Also, Duck starts with a D which is the fourth letter in the alphabet, which is like saying “go forth and prosper” like the only way to prosper is to duck. And then duck is related to a drake, which is like saying “get down, go forth, prosper, so you can battle Drake in the future, so people can come back to this video and dissect the lyrics.” Crazy prophetic.
@teleportmanteau mannnn that's why people don't like kendrik super fans, what in the holy reach is that
Kendrick is one of the Goats in the hip-hop scene.

@Kushinga Levels from what I've seen from him I think he hasn't listened to a lot of Kendrick
Yes!!! Underrated song by kendrick

Yeah, that makes sense. That would make this a triple entendre.
"the art of peer pressure" and "sing about me, I'm dying of thirst".

Shaq you’ve gotta review it
such a good song
He said it at the start of the video
Why is nobody requesting kendricks track where he called Jcole music trash, Lol idk it’s a good song but he’d go crazy since he a cole fan.

The line
AK's, AR's, "aye y'all. Duck."

4:26 all these bars been hidden for years. Euphoria, then the light skin line. Bruh!!
That’s what I’m saying! Kendrick predicted the drake beef.
“Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst” It’s a deep song

Shaq deserves everything he gotten within the past year and a half!! Came a long way, GRINDING 🔥🔥
@ 12:00 when Kendrick’s voice gets deep and satanic that represents people seeing Kendrick the supposed “good kid” as actually capable of killing someone at 16yo. So instead of seeing him as a good kid ppl start seeing him as a monster with the satanic voice. And then it gets higher pitched cuz you remember it’s just Kendrick and he really is a good kid, he just seen some shit

The track on it's own is fire, listening to the whole album cohesively, mind blowing how he fused all tracks together. No misstep
I’m early what’s good shaq love u
Love the free lunch line think it’s a metaphor as there’s no such thing as a free lunch there’s always a price to pay.
Idk about Compton CA. But in Qnz NY as a kid(aka- til h.s.) lunch was free in public schools
U by Kendrick is probably the most heartbreaking song I’ve heard in a very long time.
Shaq trust me. Kendrick is honestly miles better than J Cole, and this comes from a fan that used to pick cole over Kendrick. When you actually disect his discography it’s insane
Grand Guru they’re two different rappers, they make different music, Kendrick makes music that’s more important, Cole makes more Coherent songs that everyone can relate to. They’re difficult to compare, it’s more preference
I'm a huge fan of both but I sort of agree. Kendrick is a class above. I wouldn't mention Cole with Em/Pac/Big but I would Kendrick.
Daniel most definitely. His lyrical ability is a little better than coles, just a little bit though in my opinion.
