    For the plug adapter, most of us in the US will have a 3 prong plug for our laptops. A lot of hotels did not have a 3 prong plug. So we had to go to Daiso, they sell a 2 prong extension which does not have the 3rd prong, but it has a 2 prong which will slip onto the plug and allow you to plug into the outlets in Japan. It's a little white adapter they sell.

    Thank you for the great advice! One detail, Westerners often sweat/stink more for genetic reasons so I’ve heard we need to bring our own deodorant (edit: antiperspirant) because it’s a lot stronger 😅

    • @aibao_eipariru_april
      @aibao_eipariru_april Před 3 měsíci +2

      If you have bad BO from your diet or genes and need antiperspirant, definitely bring it because it’s hard to find.
      But in general Japanese deodorant is really nice and the smells aren’t overpowering like western ones (like he said, people around you will be sensitive to the fragrances). For summer there are even all over body deodorants with a cooling effect to keep you from overheating.
      I bring antiperspirant and still buy deodorant when I’m in Japan 😂 especially in the summer. The cooling thing is awesome. They also have deodorant wipes that are really nice for freshening up throughout the day.

      I don't have any preference for sunscreen and bug spray, but I suggest you go to convenience stores (especially SevenEleven) to buy them👌
      They don't have a variety of them but the ones they put are popular among Japanese, so it's easier to decide than you buy them in drag stores in Japan😉
