Hi Craig, This is when GM got this Geep from BN, Moose knows Leo Landry who worked for the for the Green Mountain RR as one of the crewmen, Leo also took many great night Photos in Vermont that are in "Railroad Explorer" magazine over the years. So when Moose got the news he went up,I missed that ride. This is also a former "Northern Pacific" GP-9 #223 built in 6/1955 which makes it a rare unit in New England back then ! I always liked the Great northern (GN), Northern Pacific (NP), Chicago,Burlington & Quincy (C,B&Q) and Alco heaven Spokane,Portland & Seattle (S,P&S) for there great paint schemes and Ops before there merger to form BN in 1970. Thanks Craig great memories !!
Another great video!!!
