A reporter once asked Freddy what instrument he played. He answered "The audience, darling!"

"Fat Bottomed Girls" grabs you by the short 'n' curlies right from that raucous acapella get-go.
    Sir Mix-a-Lot you say?
Nah - THIS will always be the greatest song ever written about big butts.
Come-on my brothers you can't deny.

Freddie was one of the strongest magnets life offered. You are pulled towards his heart. And then the whole harmonies wrap your soul.

If you look on CZcams you’ll find a mashup of this with Sweet Home Alabama, so you’re not the only one that got a similar vibe.
I can hear the connection now that you point it out, although I’d never pieced them together previously.

Freddie was the ultimate entertainer and had a stage presence few people have or will ever have 🔥

Hello Day One - Let’s get you some more subs!! There are tons of Queenies out there so keep doing those Queen reactions. This song was written by Brian May kinda with Freddie in mind cuz he liked men & women with “junk in the trunk”.🍑 Gotta read the lyrics!! Anyway, you should follow up with the live version at Milton Keynes 1982 for a couple reasons - Freddie’s on Fire & he literally pole dances with the scaffolding on stage! It’s an amazing sight to behold! Then you should do the music video of BICYCLE RACE 🚴‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️ which is the companion song to FBG when Freddie sings “Get on your bikes & ride”. Welcome to QUEENDOM!

I'm not a Queen expert but I've heard that Freddie sang the harmonies on studio versions of the songs. Have you reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody? The official video is probably Queen's most popular on youtube.

Roger Taylor the drummer is a huge part of the harmonies.

Those harmonies are multi-track vocals: they record the voice tens, even a hundred times and layer it. You'll notice it with the Carpenters, too.

Your reference to Sweet Home Alabama is not off. There is a mash up video on YT of those 2 songs and its awesome how well they sync up. There is also a mash up of The Bee Gees song Stayin Alive & AC/DC's song Back In Black. It's called Stayin In Black. Check them out they're both great.

The harmonies are a Queen trademark. There are a few songs that Freddie did all of the harmonies himself by layering multiple tracks. The opening sequence of Bohemian Rhapsody is done by Freddie alone. The video shows all of the members lip syncing.

Angela - I am originally from Ohio and I remember the year Queen, The Rolling Stones, ELO and Aerosmith came in the World Series Of Rock. And I could only see one of them. For me, this was an easy choice. The Rolling Stones. They were by far the best of these groups. I like Queen but, not still one of my favorites. I don't care for this song.

I think you might get into some Led Zeppelin, Angela. "Whole Lotta Love", "How Many More Times", "Since I've Been Loving You", "When The Levee Breaks" and "In My Time Of Dying".
Unless you've already heard them of course.

I once worked with a Brother that just loved big legged fat bottom women. I mean "LOVED" them!
I asked him what the attraction was and he flashed a big toothy smile and said, "Bruh, I likes me somethin I can leans into."

No ambiguity in this song -- If you want to fully understand "Sweet Home Alabama" you should also listen to "Southern Man" by Neil Young - which is mentioned in Skynard's song - which is kind of a racist anthem - even though it's got a good rockin beat, and one of the most iconic riffs in rock music. Been watching some of your videos. I can't decide if you're more beautiful when you laugh, or when you cry. Your emotions show your inner beauty but, "I'd run a mile just to see you smile ..." - John Prine ("Aw Heck")
