Fishing for Catfish in a River: Catfishing Tips - Bait, Rigs, and Tackle

Overcast days can make the fishing good. It was a very foggy morning with limited visibility for the first hour. I decided to anchor fish with heavy baits. I didn't get any fish in the first spot, but the next two stops I was able to get some nice blue catfish. I also caught a nice 20 lb blue catfish to call it big fish of the day. Unfortunately, the river was closed off due to a rowing event. But I can't complain, the fishing was good with the limited areas I could fish.
