As an LSU alum, I'm HAPPY to see us lose. Absolutely embarrassing team with no sportsmanship, not coming out of the locker room for the national anthem, entitled because we won last year. AND THIS STEMS FROM MULKEY! I can't stand that we talked all that trash all season, then going to cry and play the victim after we lose. Come one man. Angel waved by to a girl after she flopped and got the girl fouled out and nobody felt any sympathy for that girl at all when she was visibly shaken. End of the day, we got beat by a better team with the best player in the nation on it.
Something changed in sports about 25 years ago. All of a sudden, trash talking and disrespecting your opponent became ok. I was taught to show other teams respect in victory or defeat, shake their hand and tell them “good game”. If a player did anything different the coach would bench you for the next game. That has been lost and these type of situations are a result. Mocking another team or player is wrong. Sometimes you get what you deserve down the road. Lots of blame to go around….media shows this trash talking on sports center over and over and gets viewership from it. It is wrong and should be called out for being wrong. Can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube now…. Whole generation grew up doing it since junior high athletics and don’t even know it’s wrong. Talk .hit on the court and you’re open to receive some in return. No whining when you’re on the wrong end.

Just because you’re famous, doesn’t give people the right to threaten your life. That’s never appropriate. Angel is still someone’s daughter, a human. She hasn’t done anything to those who issue hate to her. So leave her alone. The truth is that for someone to have to perform knowing all of this hate is happening is something to respect.
She'll be alright, it was just one of those things were everything came out as she finally got to decompress. When you play sports you're always locked in with little down time if are serious about it, anybody that's played a sport knows that. That's magnified when under a massive spotlight. Got to release and sleep, she's probably already rebounded this morning. Want to see her tighten her game up though under the basket and on the foul line as she's a walking double double, and that 17 / 20 could've been even better.

With a lot of the commentary about Angel Reese's 2 minute answer at the press conference, both Paul and Keyshawn acknowledged her situation better than most. The two things that make her experience different than even theirs, college athletes in the early to mid 1990s, are social media and the NIL. Anyone who tries to say what she should do needs to realize that the playbook changed while she was already in college. She has to write the playbook for this era.
