Let's make things clear. Not folding your clothes and not making your bed is nowhere near as bad as repeatedly buying and throwing away plastic cutlery and paper plates. If they're so concerned with saving time they must be making enough food to have leftovers so you're telling me they microwave the leftovers on a paper plate?
Also I imagine the time saved from not having to buy paper plates and having to put out the waste more often is similar to literally rinsing your plate for 5 seconds and leaving it to dry after you eat.

    • @TheMajorpickle01
      @TheMajorpickle01 Před 3 lety +42

yeah not doing your bed affects literally nothing and not folding clothes takes up maybe a little more space and adds wrinkles.
buying paper plates and cutlery is a waste of money, is an inferior experience, and saves almost no time (actually wastes more when you consider purchasing)

@@stingersplash but then you're still not *saving* time by one-click ordering, that takes about as long to wash a few plates/cutlery and sit them in the rack to dry. At least a negligible difference either way.
I'd be happier if they said they had 1-2 plates, 1-2 pieces of each variety of cutterly, no one needs 50+ of every item.
My mind is still blown more than when they talked about the Fish and Chips debacle...

Paper plates are for people who are too disgusted to touch their own food. Having to buy and unpack new paper plates and plastic cutlery almost eliminates the time advantage having to clean up for one person. This advantage is also lost any time you have to wash something either way, like cooking pot etc.
So, the time advantage only exists if you're eating microwave and ordered food, although small because of the nen-perpetual nature of throwaway cutlery and plates. Waste of money aside, it's a lot of unnecessary waste material.

Laundry bags are too much effort, I unironically toss my clothes directly onto the floor in a designated corner of my room. Saves me a bag, and makes it easy to spot what I’m picking up a glance.
I may live my life like an animal, but the animal life is good. Just the bear necessities for me.
That said, not using normal dishes is madness. The sheer amount of waste your putting into a landfill is unconscionable. That’s more of a moral issue than a laziness one.
Edit: I will absolutely eat a sandwich off a paper towel though. Even the paper towel is only there to prevent condiment from dripping onto me, I can and have eaten sandwiches with just bead and no dishes, it’s just more likely to stain my clothes.
Edit2: Hafu is a deranged maniac, and this whole segment is flooding back to me.

But I also literally just throw paper on the ground when im done with homework until my chair eats it, and I eat mostly unseasoned meat because I'm lazy with cooking so agreeing with me is the WRONG thing to do

NL is rarely right but this video could just be titled "72 minutes of Ryan being 1000000% right". The "you hate poor people thing" makes me literally want to die. IT'S WAY MORE EXPENSIVE TO USE PAPER PLATES.
Also I miss Nek so much :( without him the animals outnumber the adults to an unreasonable extent.

Hot take on NLSS debates: Regularly using paper plates in place of real plates is way weirder than freezing PB&J sandwiches.
    And I don't even like PB&J.
Not even a "grow up and be an adult" lifestyle shaming thing, I'm a huge manchild myself, paper plate meta is just that alien a concept.
