I work for this franchise and literally HALF of our guests are there for manicures and/or pedicures on a daily basis and they all really enjoy the services

Dopest thing ever I thought about this years ago ! And now I work there ! He definitely made this idea happen ! Our salon has over 700 members it definitely makes money

I’ve been to this place a few times for a haircut (awesome place) and I’m just now realizing the nails is referring to the manicures lol
Nothing wrong with men having clean & cut nails. A lot of women appreciate it.
I like manicure for male but their name is kind of weird unless i read the small words on their logo.

The Sharks were too myopic on this. This guy was filling a glaring need in the market and had proof of concept sales for the first store. Franchising was the only way forward. Glad he’s killing it.

I remember watching this shortly after it aired and was gutted he did not get a deal. I had strong feeling the sharks were wrong on this one. I just saw this today by chance and I am so happy he went on to be successful with the business.

Basically from what I gathered from the sharks is they think this is an incredible idea but they don’t think they could really help him; he’s already got it figured out. He just needs to do it on his own; I think they actually helped him out here by not stealing 20% of his business.

These shops are expanding and killing it!! They have come to my state and are building in rich areas. Man they are freaking busy af. The sharks missed out on this for sure.
I do deliveries to nail salons. The most jacked men with their trophy wives go to nail salons to get their nails done all the time.
It's great stuck to their gut and did well for themself.

Many guys just go to a Podiatrist in Australia to get there nails cut, yes we could go to a nail shop and pay less to get them done.
If you have foot issues then you’ll still need a Podiatrist.😊
@ricktheelian but the point is that the Hammer Nail offers other man services too-not just nails done. Podiatrist does not offer the other services. This was a great idea
@@natashajean395 yes, I understand on the up-Sale of services to $120, but just saying lots of guys would go to a Podiatrist just to get nails cut, perhaps once in a while they shave off some hard skin once a year.
Just to get a customer in to do nails offer hand nails or a foot massage then $120 people may pay for those services.
@@rickthelian2215 the podiatrist will cut and thin the nails. They also cut ingrown and impacted nails too besides treating for fungus or other infections of the nail and nail bed. A nail tech will do all the above except prescribe medication or do anything invasive. Podiatrists don't make the nails look as nice as nail techs do nor do they soak your feet. As doctors they are limited in how much time they spend with their patients.
@@Wondorawoman yes if you need those services of a Podiatrist, myself I go once a year now.
I had fungus many years ago on mainly by big toes over the counter medications where useless. I when on Prescription medication after about 6 months they started to improve and the fungus slowly grew out, now new healthy nails, but I do find it hard to cut my nails due to other medical conditions.
Hence a good concept just to get nails cut to use rather than a Podiatrist full time only yearly.
