Honestly this is how you save the rc Community. There are so many people that are willing to learn but don’t have anyone to ask or even know where to begin and start..
Let’s be honest it’s not the friendliest hobby to get into or the most affordable. Looking forward to more of your tips.👍🏼

Hey John, you said "real planes". To paraphrase David McCallum's character in the original "Flight of the Phoenix" with Jimmy Stewart (one of my all-time favorite movies), model planes are real planes! They are not toys, as Jimmy Stewart's character called them. They still follow the same laws of physics. They only differ in size!
After seeing this movie, I starting differentiating between them by calling them full-scale or full-sized aircraft (or 1:1 scale) and model aircraft. I was a single-engine and glider student pilot (soloed & was getting ready for my 1st cross-country solo when funds dried up) so we do benefit from your full-scale and model experience!
Thanks for the great how-to-videos. Many times when I'm responding to other peoples questions, I refer them to your videos.

When you fly past the centre line it looks like your plane still crabs. Though it does seem to be an easier way to establish a crab on the line, Thanks.

Good eye. There are a couple of things at play here: 1) The plane is a weather vane and tends to want to point itself into the wind when the wind is coming in off the nose. 2) For the purposes of capturing the process on video and to keep from flying over the flight line, I couldn't go as far past the center line as I wanted to in order to maintain a perfectly straight over-ground track. That said, when the wind is coming from the other direction at that field--which is a frequent occurrence--my final leg starts 20-30 degrees off center line at times.

Hello, I have been flying a sports cub s2 for a while now, I have a 1.2 twin otter from e flite laying around my room, should I jump to that, or what plane would you recommend?

Try doing that with a boomerang 60 flatbottom wing trainer

Do you think it wouldn't work based on airframe? I've done it with a 100mph BAe Hawk, a Kaos 60, a 72" My Twin Dream (video on the channel), and just about every other airframe I own. I am legitimately curious to know why you think the technique wouldn't work on a given airframe.

You’re cheating by using the MM! It makes everything so easy, I love that plane. 😂😂😂

The MM *definitely* makes me look like a better pilot than I am. It's the best kept secret in RC Flying IMHO.

Steve Diesner it’s the Tower Hobbies Millennium Master. $119 PnP from Tower Hobbies. Probably one of the best planes out there. I take mine to the field every time. I love doing touch and goes with it. Very well behaved plane.

Steve Diesner I have a couple of other things to add. If you’re a Tower Hobbies member, you get $12 off plus free shipping. A tip that @RC Video Reviews gave me is to try a 9X6 prop on it. It peps it up perfectly.
