I actually like that bit of aggression he had in his earlier music. I suppose that comes from liking a lot of heavy rock music. I still enjoy his new album though. He definitely improves with each album he releases. Not many artists can say that. It shows what hard work and dedication to your craft can do. If you are going to be doing Eminem could you please put Yelawolf - Best Friend on your list to react to. In my opinion, it is one of Eminem's best verses.

Quick note on his beats sometimes being too loud.. it has to do with his OCD.. i don't know if you've listened to Returns yet but he actually mentions there "My expertise are melodies, they speak to me when I'm hurt.. just let me be, eventually they'll see what I'm worth".. and hes had similar comments in some small live streams hes done with fans on IG and couple other tracks like in Intro II where i hear many reactors make this same critique.. about the beginning being too loud.
But if you remember the time frame, it was right before Therapy Session. and in intro 2, he's having a major battle with Fear behind the curtains.. if you watch that video again, pay attention to how often he addresses himself through a mirror.. and the different pronoun usages. "the only person i judge is the one in the mirror.. and lately he aint doin well, i don't need ya'll in my ear"... hes literally talking to/about Fear that entire track. (as opposed to Intro III where Fear takes the Mic and gets buried) which he even threatens in Intro 2 "Show me an artist you wanna compare me with, put us both on a track i'ma bury him"... it all connects, lol, b/c the only person he'd ever judge, as he said, is the one in the mirror, Fear, so when Fear snipes that Mic.. Nate follows through his threat. Its just very cool.
Then in Leave Me Alone, the connecting track to this one.. the chorus shares a similar sentiment 'QUIET QUIET QUIET QUIET LEAVE ME ALONE".. only difference being he's not letting us hear them bc hes hiding behind his burdens.. so only he can hear. Even in The Search.. " Thoughts tellin' me I'm lost gettin' too loud , Had to see a therapist, then I found out, somethin' funny's goin' on up in my house".. the year before being right around TS/Perception albums when he was institutionalised and diagnosed with OCD.
His health was on the decline.. which throws forward to the future song Returns from The Search, with the line i wrote above.. everything about Nate is deliberate, in my opinion. he's way too calculating and genius in all aspects to fall short in just audio levels. So, in my humble opinion, when the orchestra is extra loud, its bc hes going through something bc again "my expertise are melodies, they speak to me when i'm hurt".. and bc its HIS therapy.. i think the audio being loud is bc thats exactly what he's experiencing but showing the fans a bit more about whats happening behind the curtains. #NFrealMusic
