Lol. I mean nobody has to like all of a person's discography.. I skip a few NF songs, not because I don't like it but I'm just not in the mood.. NFREALMUSIC! Stay blessed!
In case any new fans need this:
🎶 This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies. All of his albums are like a connected series.
He also hides eggs in his videos which he directs and co produces. For example in his “when i grow up” song there were four hidden eggs in that song: 1. A black balloon by the trash cans (black balloon represents his burdens per search single) 2 In the burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. 3. He had outcast written on his name tag in the janitor scene which references his Outcast song. 4. He had his moments album CD in car scene
Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song. Search single also connects to Hope. In Hope he has the “map to hope”.
The black smile you will see painted on his mouth is explained in his therapy session song.

Here's the TLDR version:
The Search dropped and hit #1 on trending for Hip Hop. The Rolling Stones (magazine) wasn't happy and wrote a hit piece.
NF quickly released a single, Paid My Dues.
Which is a play on "Pay Your Dues" song by The Rolling Stones (band)

@@BulletProof85 Exactly. The first time I ever heard was right when NF dropped Clouds. Then I saw The Search, then When I Grow Up and was hooked. Listened to everything he did. Favorite artist for the past 2+ years.
Nate has been dropping hints about what he is doing since the beginning in my opinion. "All I Have - I don't think they see my vision here!" "No Name - I'm tryna paint a picture, get the vision, you ain't here it yet" "No Name - I'm tryna think out the box, no" "The Search - Man, I don't know if I'm makin' movies or music videos". He is very organised as he said and is trying to do something different. It doesn't mean it is not real. He also said that he writes the intro last so this ties in with how he is able to tell a continuous story. He probably has already started writing new music for a new album when he writes the intro and completes the current album. You will see another clue in the Paid My Dues video when you get to it. That was released in 2019. Even Clouds was a continuation of the story in my opinion. He was wearing all black but he didn't have his signature shoes. He looked like he was wearing combat boots (signifying he was fighting something).

I feel hands up and turn the music up are the weaker if his songs. To me they’re too loud, kind of in between as he tried finding his style.

People who think that Nate didn’t coordinate The Search with HOPE, both Title Songs of the Albums, aren’t legit fans bc NF had been doing stuff like that from basically the start if not the very beginning.

I honestly like his deeper tracks more because I can relate to them more, his hype tracks are absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥 but yeah. I personally will have Just like you and Drifting on repeat more than layers and that's a joke. But again every fan has songs they can relate to or want to hear more.
