I’ve been doing a Bible study with my family and I’ve been watching your videos to help give me points & comments to share during the study. My sister has recently opened up her heart to Christ and I know the points from these sermons have greatly contributed to that. Thank you for sharing your insight and wisdom. Praise to the almighty Lord

As always when you teach, thank you so much for this lesson. Any practical service given in the church is also a spiritual service.

"It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables." (Acts 6:2)
Amen! _BUT_ I think it's wrong for a pastor to interpret that by saying, "I have to study for 15 hours a week to prepare my Sunday sermon." I can't imagine the apostles doing that. Especially since other places in Acts speak of them teaching from "house to house." Remember, 12 apostles had to minister to 5000 people by this time. With persecution increasing, you know they didn't have Sunday services or Bible studies in the temple at this time. (Only evangelism.) The apostles were not constantly studying so much as they were constantly teaching from house to house.
When God showed this to our church before the start of the pandamic, we decided to make church less about the big Sunday gatherings, and more about home ministries. The pandamic only accelerated what God had shown us. We went from three home groups to over *twenty* now, praise God!

That's great that the church wants to meet in homes and edify each other. Blessings in Jesus!
