Please do a dedicated sunscreen reapplication video!!! Especially over makeup!
OMG YES! We need that!
Yes please
Yes please, this is a great idea!
Yes please!!
Yessss please!!!
Thanks! The whole time Iâm setting here saying âwhat about Bondi Sand for those who canât afford $30,$40 for sunscreen?â Yes, I love Bondi Sand and it has been my favorite for a year or so now. FYI you can get the body sunscreen one with 5oz at $13. It has the exact ingredients.
Would love a video on all the LPosay favorites that u have because u do such a great job at explaining why u love and/or dislike each and every single aspect of the product!!! U always fill us in on every possible question so that we can choose OUR OWN fave from all your faves
đ„°â€ïžđ„°â€ïž
Your makeup is ON POINT girlfriend! And blue is definitely your color đ€ hope youâre having a great week! Thanks for the help in this video đ
Would definitely love a dedicated La Roche Posay video!
Especially looking forward to your all mineral sunscreen favourites!
I recently started using the delta md sunscreen and as someone with super oily skin in the summer I'm loving it personally. I do tend to get that dry/tight feeling from it, but I just moisturizer underneath and after about 30min it starts to away from my oils coming through a little. I don't find it dewy at all really on my skin and has been perfect especially I'm a server at a really greasy restaurant which does not help with my oily skin.
That blue is amazing on you! Bondi Sands is a nice sunscreen at an amazing price. Like LP it can sting if it gets in your eyes but that's true of many chemical sunscreens. I have a mineral sunscreen I use on my eye area since my eyes are easily irritated. The cast is much less of a problem for me in that area.
Would love if you could do a favorites for body sunscreen lotions! Especially mineral and combination sunscreens for body :)
youâre my new favorite âyou-tuberâ! as someone who is âolderâ but still young i appreciate all the research you do while adding a little âglamâ twist to the products you recommended! and youâre cute as a button! đ
Yes please on la roche posay dedicated review đ. What do you think about the invisible mist one they have for touch ups throughout the day over makeup when you are out and about? Thanks Abbey!!â€ïžâ€ïž
La Roche Posay Sunscreen are expensive af in the US đłYou can get better LRP sunscreen with better filters for 9⏠in the EU
Can you name a few
Yep. Thatâs why I donât buy LRP (Iâm in the US). I think sunscreen should be affordable for everyone and LRP is owned by LâOreal - they could choose a more reasonable price point if they want to.
@@josephcyriac1065 any of them. EU approves better filters than us, and LRP in every other country uses those. But if youâre in the US, you canât get them shipped here (not LRP or AvĂšne, or the Australian sunscreens), so youâre limited to either Asian ones or going to visit another country and stocking up while there.
I get mine at cvs in the us with coupons for $20
@@karenjimenez9804 how do you get coupons? Please share
The Bondi sands SunnyDaze sunscreen is amazing. Itâs tinted so it doesnât leave a white cast and itâs really moisturising. I have oily skin and it doesnât leave my skin feeling heavy or greasy by the end of the day even after a couple of reapplications. Itâs at a great price too!
Hi, Abbey! Thank you for sharing all your favorite sunscreens let alone applying them all on for us to see! I do have one question, when you apply and reapply, how much do you use for each application? Thank you again! Love the video and would love to see a dedicated la Roche posay video!
Yes, the Ella spf does tingle and cause me to flush as itâs drying down. Iâm not normally very sensitive. Currently using and loving the Drmtlgy and I really want to try the Bondi Sands.
Thanks for this video! I love all your content, but I definitely look forward to your videos on sunscreen. I am looking forward to your video on Asian sunscreens! I really have only tried one, innisfree uv defense spf 36, but its the only sunscreen I've actually enjoyed using besides Supergoop's Unseen Sunscreen. I love both, but innisfree doesn't feel like a primer/makeup and has me interested in trying other Asian sunscreens!
Love the laroche milk and supergoop play sunscreens. Alastin Hydratint is so good too! Try it!
Thank you for all the great feedback on our SPF! We also appreciate your honesty when it comes to our Self Tanners!
I love Supergoop unseen sunscreen. Velvety finish and I apply before makeup. Not greasy at all.
Thanks for a great SPF video! FYI, generally speaking in SF, the prices are way more than anywhere else. Biondi goes for $21 here in the SF/Bay area. FYI, a cheap dupe for Super Goop's SPF is Trader Joe's Daily Facial Sunscreen, SPF 40. It doubles as a great primer under foundation and it's fragrance-free! CVS has a clear mineral SPF that's a dupe for EltaMD's Sport SPF, it's $7.99 for the big tube, it's water resistant for 80 minutes and it's fragrance free. The only draw back to that one is it definitely leaves a white cast.
I would love to see a video of your favorite matte finish sunscreens, I'm currently looking for one.
My large family went to BoraBora a few years back. My in-laws had all packed different sunscreens. I brought the La Roche Posay Anthelios one you mentioned with me (the first one you mentioned). I was the ONLY person out of the 12 of us that had zero sunburn. (I am light skinned) When we got back to the U.S. the entire family bought the LRP Anthelios! In humid environments I think it feels a bit heavy as a body sunscreen so make sure you apply it 20 min or so before you go outside to give it a chance to dry down, but I swear by the stuff. The reason I had even heard of it is because years ago it was consumer reports top choice for efficacious sunscreen. Hope this helps somebody choose a great vacation sunscreen!
la roche posay sunscreen dries my skin out soo much for some reason, and the moisturiser always pillsđ©đ©
Yes! La roche posay sunscreen video would be great!! Face and body please! I get rashy with any sunscreens but not La roche posay!
Great video! Tried the first one but it pilled when I applied my makeup. Using the EltaMD Elements and loving it but always up to try a new sunscreen, especially if you recommend it!
yes to the la roche posay favourites!!
Can we have a makeup breakdown or vid on this look! Stunning
Abbey! You always seem to make the exact video I need!! Do you by chance have a favorite mineral sunscreen at the moment? Thank you!!
Would love to see your thoughts on ISDIN, Paulaâs choice, or Josie Maran
Hi abbey , absolutely love your recommendations and can you please do a dedicated ,sunscreen on la Roche posay xx
This is very helpful to me. I have a 9 year old boy that hates sunscreen with a white cast or makes him look really shiny. I usually use unseen sunscreen on him but it's quite expensive so I'm going to try a couple of these. Thanks!
Hi Abbey I love your videos! What would be the most lightweight tinted mineral sunscreen youâve tried thatâs good for oily skin? Your past videos got me into Color Science but I remember you saying itâs not the most lightweight formula youâve tried. Would really appreciate the recommendation, thank you!
I am obsessed with Walgreenâs sensitive skin sunscreen. I have tried a lot of nicer more expensive sunscreens but this one is only 2.99, has no white cast, doesnât irritate my eyes or break me out. It is a chemical sunscreen and I use it every day. The last time I went to Walgreens there wasnât a spot for it and I am so worried it was discontinued!
I always find your videos so informative and helpful! Thanks for all the wonderful recommendations!
Could you do a top heat protectant or heat protectant show down? I know youâve mentioned a few in favorites videos but I think itâd be awesome to compare em all in one like this!
you should really try the pipette sunscreen! itâs been my favorite for about a year now!
There are a few CZcamsrs that love the la roche posay milk sunscreen & unfortunately it did not work for me. It didn't pill when applying, but after being on my skin for a few hours I'd look in the mirror & there would be dry sunscreen on my forehead & whatnot...even if I didn't use a moisturizer or any other product underneath. I wish this didn't occur because it did seem very hydrating! It just goes to show how everyone's skin is different. đ
Bondi Sands has been my go-to body sunscreen lately though. Love it!
I'm loving the la roche posay melt in milk but I really want to try the bondi sands because it's so much cheaper. You're not first person I've heard say that they're similar! Australian brands don't mess around when it comes to sunscreen. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it in any brick and mortor stores and I hate buying skin stuff online :/
Hi Abbey âđŒ
Could you make a video about âBest matt/oil control sunscreens that are not asian?â. Most of them have mixed reviews and Iâd like to hear your opinion about them
I found the Bondi Sands sunscreen at Marshallâs the other day for $6.99. Itâs not the one thatâs specifically for the face, but I still use it for the face and Iâve been loving it!
Excited to try Bondi Sands!! Cheeeaap. Does it dry down at all?? Is it nice under makeup asweell....? Hope soo, giving it a go.. currently using DRMTLY universal tinted, BUT I live in New Zealand đłđż and costs alot ship-hoping bondi can deliver and this works for my normal/dry skin. Thanks darl, sooo good to have soo many good options mineral or chemical x
I use Bondi Sands sunscreen (not the face one) and it is so good! I love the glowy, dewy finish! It's bigger than the face one & works just as well for the face as it does for the body. It has definitely become my holy grail sunscreen. I honestly hope it stays around for a really long time. đđ§Ą
Is that good under makeup?
It would be helpful if you mentioned how they perform under make-up and wear time tests.
1) I recently tried the Drmtlgy sunscreen per your recommendation! I got the tinted one, and I was nervous bc most tinted sunscreens end up too dark on me (i have the complexion of a vampire lol) but it just gave me a gentle âsunkissedâ vibe lol so it passed!
2) Have you tried the Apostrophe sunscreen? My sister got me to try hers and she loves it, and I thought it was pretty good! I feel like it might have been only SPF 40 thoughâŠ
3) I think itâd be great to see a video dedicated to sweatproof/waterproof sunscreen! I have a hard time knowing if a sunscreen is going to be waterproof/sweatproof, so I honestly end up using my everyday sunscreens when I go for walks, and I know theyâre probably not enough! I know you said the Bondi Sands one is sweatproof/waterproof, do you have any other recs that you like? âșïž
I love your vids, I know I can always come to you for thorough and well-researched information!
I love the Cetaphil Whie sunscreen to use with LaRoche Anthelios tinted sunscreen. Full protection!!! đ
frezyderm is an amazing sunscreen you should try sometime! I love la Roche Posay, but Frezyderm beats it hands down.
LRP Toleriane Double Repair UV is also a great sunscreen and only $20.
Can you make an Australian Gold comparison video? may compare with other tinted mineral sunscreen and half face bare skin đ
Spray tan on fleek! Looking amazing!
Abby have u heard of that BASK sunscreen??? Not sure if it meets your requirements but the packaging is super cute and I get ads for it often .....not sure if it's an old or new one
WOW! FANTASTIC - LIKE 5 SENTENCES into intro and I'm SO IMPRESSED ! Already nailed all the top concerns! So organized focused and efficient. APPRECIATED !!!!
Yay, so excited for this video! Love you abbey!
Do you ever layer two sunscreen products? Iâm considering buying the La Roche Posay serum one you love with the Drmtlgy (I have the tinted hybrid formulation and am obsessed)âŠthoughts??
Omg! What self tanner are you wearing? It looks amazing & dark!
I find the melt into sunscreen milk heavy and it leaves a white cast. It's s little suffocating for my oily skin.
Loved this video on sunscreens!! Can you review Clearstemâs new sunscreen?
The DRMTLGY SPF feels like that because of the zinc. By nature its mattifying and is a powder so mineral/hybrid SPFs with a high amount of zinc tend to be mattifying/dry-touch
If you haven't yet, you should check out the Tinted Max sunscreen from Peter Thomas Roth. It's a beautiful product and I don't see anyone talking about it.
Not sure if you did your hair differently but the colour is very nice!
YES Please to the LRP sunscreen video!
Supergoop has burned my eyes and I wouldnât say I have sensitive eyes. But, I was putting me head under water. Iâd say avoid this one if you like actually getting in the water. â€ïžâ€ïž
I just tried the bondi one and it is amazing for the price! I am upset that it has taken me so long to try it. I have slight combo skin on my t-zone and this works perfect, I donât find it too oily throughout the day. This will be my new favorite affordable sunscreen
Which is your current favorite SPF to use under foundations?
Random question. But do we need to be applying 2 layers of sunscreen? Because I definitely don't do that. Granted I use a moisturizer/spf combo product & then followup with a tinted spf, but not always!
Great vid!!! Abbey, why donât you do a review of Jennifer Anniston LoLaVie? Would be great đ ty đ€
Love your videos!!! Have you ever tried COTZ Flawless Complexion SPF 50? It might be my new favorite!
What bronzer are you using! It looks great!
Iâve been on the hunt for an untinted chemical or combo sunscreen that dries matte, with no alcohol or fragrance. Not sure these qualifications exist in a single product! I may give the Drmtlgy one a try, sounds like it would be close.
Thanks so much for the work you put into your videos, I always look forward to your thorough and organized reviews!
The Eucerin oil control spf is what you are describing. Although it has alcohol
Yay!! Iâve been waiting for this video!!
I have super oily skin and the Elta MD UV clear has been the only thing ever to keep my oil at bay. No drying effect for me. So far since starting Tretinoin it is still working for me. Itâs so fascinating how uniquely skin care interacts with each persons skin. Thanks for the information.
I bought LRP 60 on Dr Dray's recommendation for oily skin, and the worst part is the white streaks with every application! How are you guys not getting tons of white build up in your hairline? Ugh!!
Would love to hear what you think of the new cerave cleanser balm!
Hi Abbey, Did you test these under make up?
One of my fave US sunscreens is definitely Blackgirl sunscreen kids version! So affordable and works great, body and face.
Love that one!!
@@AbbeyYung Try LPR Anthelios 50+ with new filter UVmune400
Hi I have question âșïžđ«¶ I'm using la Roche Posey Hydrating cleanser! and for moisturizer Iâm useing la Roche posey Lipikar triple repair moisturizing for dry skin with shea butter. And for sunscreen useing the murad correct and protect Serum! SPF 45. and for improving my texture skin the versed doctorâs visit mask. would those products irritated my dry skin ? I heard some of these have acids and products that have acids donât go together in the same skin
New mic set up? The sound is nice! Also love your lipstick and your golden hair!!!
Yes! So glad. And thank you đ
Hi! I have been searching for right sunscreen for myself, I have used Dr barbara strum sundrops, Elta MD clear sunscreen, Supergoop play, Colorscience. All have given me migraine. I think i canât stand the smell of sunscreen. Please recommend anyâŠ..
Are we supposed to be applying 2 layers of our sunscreen?
Which is the best under makeup?!
Can you do a video like this but strictly mineral sunscreens?
Loving your hair color! â€
What is your top tinted face sunscreen? Softball mom here, desperate to find one that gives me a little color and doesn't get all greasy
I wanted to love the Elta MD so much cause it looks so nice on the skin!!! But it have me dermatitis around my eyes and on my lips and neck đ
Can you PLEASE review the Peter Thomas Roth tinted mineral sunscreen đ©
Love these, Abbey! And, I love ur channelđ
I started using the elta md sunscreen and it left my skin very red and rough (I assume maybe an allergic reaction?). I was so disappointed bc I heard it was a great sunscreen for oily skin. Can anyone help me with why that happened? I would love for it to work for me
My skincare routine includes cleansing with Cerave benzoyl peroxide/SA (swapping every other day), sunscreen and at night washing with cerave oil control, applying Tretinoin and moisturizer
Can you please do a favorite MINERAL spf video?
Have been trying to order from Drmtlgy and my orders go through, but few minutes later the order is cancelled. No one responds from their Customer Service Department - IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS????
I've tried several of these, my least favorite is the Supergoop - feels too oily after dry down.
Do you put on two layers of sunscreen every day?
Please do a favorites video on la roche posay!!
finally thank you Abbey!!!
What moisturizer did u use beore using all those sunscreen?
Have you tried the oil free Alumier sun screen?
Omg, her openeing always blows my eardrums out X'D
Have you tried Supergoop Unseen sunscreen? Thoughts?
Please do a EU one! We can't get many of the brands mentioned :(
Thank you, but If it has oxybenzone or octinoxate then itâs a definite no from me, I donât care how good the sunscreen is. I donât like burning eyes, coral reef damage or anything affecting my hormones. I know itâs expensive but Supergoop has been my go to.
I really like the brand la roche posay but its not available out here
How does the bondi sand work under makeup?
Would love your opinion on the DIME wonderscreen!
