- Jimmy Buffet is one of my all time favorite musicians ever and when I heard that he was coming out with a cruise line I knew I had to check it out for myself! Margaritaville at Sea just started setting sail this past weekend and I was on the first sailing!

Just booked this today, a few things have changed: cost is now $350 but instead of the couples massage, they give you $150 in spa credit to choose what you want. They also added 10 drinks of choice but everything else looks the same. Sailing Dec 22nd!

Thanks for the review. I had chance to experience the package when the cruise line was Bahamas Paradise. It was worth it when we went. There were not a lot of ppl last year. We got the early boarding with sandwiches, cookies, fruit and other snacks with beverage before we got on the ship. Wine tasting was good that included cheese tray and nice fresh hot pizza while mingling with other guest. I believe the massage was 25-30 minutes which was great, the same wine and fruit plate you displayed was given. Priority seating, shows, dinner and breakfast was included. I can’t wait to try Margaritaville but I will wait a few more months let them workout the issues.

I am using this Oct 26, 2023, I bought the package as well as the drink package. I am sailing as a Hero Sail Free. I am going solo on this cruise. I will be meeting the family for a back to back and looking forward. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Happy to hear you think the package is worth it. I am solo cruising next week with the Margaritaville at Sea and got the Solo License to Chill. Also booked an excursion to Swim with the Pigs.

Went on inaugural was very nice even with the bugs first night no tv no phone no a/c was in my room alone and use a scooter was ready to work my way out when 2 sweet young ladies offered to go to guest services 2 hrs later someone came to fix ac which was the vent was closed! TV and phone was in the morning by a them flipping a switch down stairs something that should have been the day was told. Jwb Steakhouse 3 hrs beginning to end and had to beg for a slice of bread! However loved the show and really did have fun. We are going back july 25 for our Anniversary I'm pretty sure all hugs are cleared by now
I would love to see a review including the hotels for the sail and stay packages. I would like know the ins and outs of those resorts and if it is worth it. Thanks!

The dinner at JWB's if purchased out the LTC package is $59pp and the breakfast/brunch is $19.99pp each morning.

Kim, I booked a solo cruise today, with the Concierge package! Seems like a great little getaway trip where I can be in the party or have quiet time to myself 😃
I’m super excited you got the concierge package!!! I think it is really worth it. Be sure to do your dining reservations at the port before you board. And book your massage the first day. If you’re not getting off the ship in port ask about the $99 spa package too. It looked good. Lastly they have a 10 drink package for $99 that’s a good deal. I’m excited for you!!!!
@@freshlysqueezedtravels I got the drink package too 😉 I've been trying to figure out why the interior room (which I got) can sleep 4 and the ocean view only two. Doesn't matter for this one, but there could be more trips to come 😃

Sailing Solo in two weeks for my birthday and OF COURSE I got the License to Cruise package.
It’s soooo good. And now they do have priority boarding. And regular champagne in the room. Not the odd grapefruit. Although I didn’t hate it. Book JWB and your massage in the terminal right after you check in. And most importantly Happy Birthday!!! 🛳
@@freshlysqueezedtravels Thank you and if all goes well, I'll have some time to wait in the terminal, so I'll book my dinners, the musical and comedy shows and the massage. I don't think I'll need reservations for JWB breakfast.

Thanks for the detailed review! Did the priority debarkation include going to the head of the valet parking line? That sounds like a nightmare waiting for your car with everyone else.

So glad I watched this video. I have some more questions though. Can you purchase bottle of wine at dinner at JWB? And should we add an alcohol package? We won’t be doing much in Bahamas maybe some walking around. Just the weekend trip trying to relax and unwind. Awesome to know we can have brunch day of embarkation!!
Hi!!! Yes you can buy a bottle of wine at JWB. They don’t offer all you can drink packages but they do have some deals like 10 cocktails for $99. Brunch is not at embarkation. It’s the first full day on the ship and the day you get off. The wine tasting is the day of embarkation. Hope that helps! Have a great cruise! 😁🚢
Their website now says “massage or breakfast” do you have any intel on that?? I love that you got both!
It said the same on our two sailings and we got both as part of the package. I believe both are included. It’s possible they could change something but the website said the same when we sailed and they gave both perks to LTC package holders.
Thanks for the informative videos. Looking for some help with a question. The 10 drink package for $99 is that drinks from any location/bar on board? The representative who booked us said it was only for the room to order room service. Is that correct? Also I am a travel agent, they said they offered no discounts or other options for that.
Hi! We purchased the $99 drink package and used it throughout the ship. Pool bar … euphoria lounge … MDR etc. Just don’t waste it on beer because most are $7. Charge those to your stateroom and save the wrist band for cocktails. I’m not sure about the TA setup. They are a relatively new cruise line so maybe they are still working on that. Hi!! Alcohol was not included with dinner at JWB. They offer a 10 drink for $99 package on the ship which is a pretty good deal. I hope you have a great cruise! 🚢😁

@@antonialarose4747 I’m not sure. But if you do buy the package don’t waste it on beer. Most beers are $7. Charge those to your cabin and save your wrist band for cocktails.
When did we purchase the concierge package? Will we indeed have access to a concierge at a specific location, or should we direct inquiries to the ship's reception?
We had a dedicated concierge. She was lovely. She checked in with us regularly but I don’t think she had a specific office. She was all over the ship. So if you have issues that can’t wait, I would go to guest services.
Are there accommodations for patrons in wheel chairs?
Hi! They do offer wheelchair accessible state rooms.

No. We did buy the 10 drinks for $99 package. That’s a nice addition!
What time is the show and what are the hours of the restaurants?
Hi!! I believe the show was at 8. I’m going on margaritaville next weekend and I will confirm and get the restaurant hours for you. My sailing was a while ago and I want to make sure I get you the correct info. 😁🚢

@@debbiekrywinski4981 show is at 8 pm and it’s 45 minutes. Fins main dining has two seatings. 6-6:30 and 8:30-9. You can arrive anytime during that 30 minute window. My next video is all about the restaurants 😁🚢
