This could be seen as a clickbait headline, in "save our taxes" online news, but some of it is important, especially concerning how vouchers would be used.

Regarding PIP, we know that "vouchers" instead of money would lead to suicides very quickly.
I can think of a few friends with disabilities who would be pushed over the edge by this.
We need to know, definitively, that Labour will not go down this deadly road at all

Once you are of pension age , they leave you for 10 years & then review it every 10 years ,until you die . If your conditions remain the same you carry on as before . If your conditions get worse , you may get a higher premium , if your condition gets better , due to say an operation , they may reduce your award or even stop it completely . It’s mainly the people of working age ,that they are looking to target & get off pip or ESA & back to work. A review for pensioners receiving PIP , is usually conducted over the phone , unless there is a major change in medical condition or circumstances , which requires a face to face examination & interview .

  • @ludwigvanbeethoven5005

The thinking behind reforming PIP is that any draconian changes to the current system will encourage the vast majority of sick & disabled people back into work, and most especially younger folks with mental health conditions. But what about all those folks in receipt of PIP with mental health conditions who have since retired (or are nearing official retirement age?) Surely the Government has got no moral justification for stopping their PIP? After all, pensioners are not expected to work any longer in law (which is just as well since many of them either can't or don't see why they should still have to). What happens to them? 🤔

Really like your video's. Declared disabled during 1992, as I have spine and bone degenerative diseases it's pretty fare to say I'm not getting better at 61 years. My current claim renews when I am 64. Pretty much know they could say anything to slow my next claim. I honesty can't see a positive for most 60 plus peeps. I really hope the constant fear of brown envelopes challenging my conditions which are backed by the top knobs within the various medical fields. I guess peep's of 60 plus years can like me see them pulling the support when it's most needed

YOU CAN'T BE THAT DISABLE, IF YOU'RE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF 5 KIDS. DISABLED PEOPLE STRUGGLE VERY HARD TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN WHICH IS VERY HARD WORK SO THEREFORE, THEY SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONES, WHO SHOULD BE ENTITLE TO CLAIM.
