Awe Italy! My husband and I were very fortunate to travel there for our 20 year anniversary! We stayed in Lake Como and toured Milan and Blagio. I loved the breeze (breeza) it was so warm and had a sweet smell. Something’s we loved about dining in Italy is that your never rushed, everything taste so fresh with not over slicing their foods, and they never served butter with their bread on the tables it was olive oil. So glad you had a magnifico time!
Funny story I have to share though! We bought a round trip tickets from lake Como to Milan for the day, but when we were returning my ticket didn’t work! You know how those train stations are so busy and they don’t speak English! My husband’s ticket let him through the gate and I’m on the other side. It was the end of a work day in this large city!! I felt so nervous and very small. Eventually someone took putty on me and helped me communicate that I needed help. We made it just in time for our train with a funny story to share.
Once we left Italy we flew into London to spend a few days there! I highly recommend England if you go back to Europe! We even toured the Highclere Castle from Downton Abbey!

My daughter and her college roommates were in Italy from September 5 til the 16th she loved it! She was exhausted when she came home! She has her next trip in the works.
All I can say is “thank you” for this video. I have never been there, but I so enjoyed this video.. I cried through a lot of it, because at 70, me and my husband have waited too long for this type adventure. We could never navigate correctly or keep schedules straight . Lol. Go again, while your still young!!!!

Everything looked amazing, but that one hotel ..my goodness, that was stunning! It looked so relaxing ! The views of the ocean, and that pool...incredible !

So funny- I was just talking to a friend yesterday about my trips to Italy in early 2000s- Capri, Sorento, Rome, Florence, Sienna. Its such a beautiful country!

Happy Happy Anniversary! Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip! I visited Italy several years ago with family and friends for 10 days. It was the best trip of a lifetime! We also flew into Rome. Spent a couple of days in Rome and Florence and then rented a restored villa in Tuscany that used to be a monastery for several days. We spent New Year’s Eve at the opera in Cortona. Then, we took a train to Venice and spent the end of our trip there! Beautiful country! My husband is a big golfer, also. He would have enjoyed attending the Ryder Cup.

Oh Crystal, my happy place is Italy❣️❣️. We go in late September to avoid all the tourists. Try Florence next time. Last time we visited Naples, Amalfi Coast, Ravello, Positano, and Sorrento. We stayed in the most beautiful hotel that sat way above the sea, the view was amaZing. Happy 15th Anniversary! I am obsessed with Italy. (My grandparents were from Calabria).
We plan on going to Italy again next year, God willing. I’m so glad you took the time to go on a wonderful adventure for your anniversary.
