A Winter's Day Drive Around Kenora, Ontario | Dash Cam Series

In December 2022 we embarked on a road trip across Canada, from the West Coast to the East Coast. We left from Gibsons, British Columbia with our final destination being the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. 🌿
Both of us were driving, which meant we had two vehicles to worry about and care for. The journey would take weeks, encountering winter storms, poor highway conditions, holiday season closures and winter fatigue. 🥶
It would be both a challenge and an amazing experience of a life time. The trip showcases the stunning beauty and awe of Canada in the winter. ❄️ 🌲 An experience I would highly recommended, but never do again...😆

Ahh my home town

In the1970s i had to drive a charterd bus up to Kenora, stayed a week. being from the Chicago area, and so far up north, i marveled that the Sun set over an hour later! Seeing this video tells me things have changed alot, but still a nice clean town, next to some lakes with fantastic fishing, and fresh air! Really short summers though. about two weeks and one day! There are Suberbs near Chicago that are four or more times bigger than Kenora! Anetas husband..

I can only imagine how it has changed since the 70's. It is a nice town, we stayed a night and had a lovely time. I would love to visit Chicago, but the volume of people might be hard for me to handle. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my channel!
