Could you make full cover tips for people with long nail beds? I can never wear almond or coffin shape with full cover tips because they start to curve up too high so my natural nail pokes out the side 😂I can't have acrylic because of my job.

Has Suzie ever done nails inspired by stained glass? These ones remind me of art glass in a way.

You have way more in salon service than me, but one tip I learned in school to do color blocking was filing the sides in between shapes before adding the next color. That gets uber crisp lines. Similarly to how you do the nail bed first in a french, then file that smile line and add color after. We also used dental floss picks instead of a razor blade or a designate curved acrylic shape cutter. Love this design though. Giving me very modern spring Mondrian vibes

Some suggestions for your new acrylic colors are : Blue Moon, Mellow Yellow, Purple Haze, Popsicle Orange, Limeade and Passion Pink. I love this! I would go a little further and add very thin black or white lines to create a bit of a plaid look. Those colors are gorgeous!

Dipping the knife in acrylic powder each time before helps prevent sticking

I like this set. I thought you were going to file the colors down then cap with a clear bead to have a solid top for strength, that way you can build up the apex without worrying about the design.

You could file each square after it sets up to get crisp edges that may help make all the edges crisp 😊

Kiwi green? That’s the only one I can think of a suggestion for but it really looks to me like the color of inside a kiwi. Seeing it after the top coat though it’s much more of a neon

Was looking forward to this video. My mind was just racing as you were placing your design. I was thinking black between the colours to look stained glass. Was also thinking of trying this with your sparkly spring acrylics. Or intermixing them with white. Omg it’s endless. I think I will be Practicing in my fake hand to see what I come up with. Ahhh your additional ideas got my brain going and now I kinda wanna see (or do?) a set of nails with Piet Mondrian vibes--the art pieces with the bold primary colored blocks with black borders.
Replicating those pieces might actually be a sort of easy mode for practicing this technique?

Suzie, I'm curious - does placing lots of little blocks of acrylic together rather than just building the extension with one or two continuous beads impact the strength of the nail at all or is it all good as long as acrylic is touching acrylic? I'm a hard gel girl and am just amazed that you don't have to do this on top of an already built extension!

The colors and the design are very late-80s/early-90s. I would give them 90s-themed names like Gak Green, Electric Blue, Hypercolor Orange, Sea sponge yellow, etc.
