  • The National Film and Sound Archive has been gifted a rare glimpse into the younger years of acting and dance legend David Gulpilil.
    For four decades, the Super 8 film footage of Gulpilil performing a traditional Aboriginal dance in Honolulu languished in a backyard shed in Townsville.
    But this NAIDOC week, the NFSA is releasing the visual treasure on their website for all to see.
