*a little history:* many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany, Pau [like "POW!"], and Ale [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music... in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... there are now three renditions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original close to true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined, and several of DPA/TW playing it in concert where it somehow comes out even darker and more foreboding bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it... DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was still quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her Specter 5-string... since she was 15 years old, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist... her Specter bass has a 35" neck on it and the coloring on the body is named "Ale's Inferno"... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today... Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was two years ago so she has 15 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old... Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing... Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live... today the girls are 23 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 21 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 18 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... in some of their early concerts, you can tell the altitude catches them out a bit... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Met Theater in CDMX holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)... some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure... additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and finishing up their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe... i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey... the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

You wont find the official music video anywhere but on their channel. In fact, check out Wikipedia, third paragraph where it reads, "In preparation for the project, Metallica invited some musicians who had gained notice for covering other Metallica songs in the past, such as the Warning,[5] the Hu,[6] and Rodrigo y Gabriela.[7] Metallica then invited artists from a variety of genres to contribute unique interpretations of the songs.[8]..."

Daniel, thanks for reacting to my request. Three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Dany (23) on guitar, Pau (21) on drums and Ale (18) on bass and each can sing lead and harmonize beautifully. They write lyrics meaningful to them, often with their views of today's world and how they would like to change it. Their 4th album of original songs is due at any time and I love EVERY song from their first three albums. I have seen them live 4 times and can't wait for my next. They recently played on the MTV VMA show and have opened for Halestorm, Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses, Three Days Grace, Muse and others.
The drummer does have a mic and she can and does sing lead while still drumming furiously. One of the secret weapons of this band is that all three can sing lead, and they harmonize beautifully. *More of The Warning!*
They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, even though the oldest sister is only 23. Their trajectory got set back a couple of years because of the pandemic, but they are becoming more widely known after opening for bands like the Foo Fighters and GNR, and touring with Muse, Royal Blood, Halestorm, and 3 Days Grace the past couple of years, in addition to their own headlining tours. These 3 sisters are DOPE! 50 songs with not one being mediocre, all good right the way from 2014 where it all started - aged 9, 12 and 14! Yes the drummer Paulina (Pau) sings around 30% of the songs 5’0” of dynamite! Yes, this is the same venue where Nightwish played in 2020, 2015 and 2012). The Warning sold out two nights on August 26 and August 29th, 2022. In Guadalajara they also played the same venue, Teatro Diana almost exactly a year apart; NW on 10/23/2020 and TW on 10/21/2023.

The drummers name is Pau (POW!), and she sang the second verse, the quiet bridge, and back up here to Dany, the main lead singer who sang the first verse. Dany sings lead about 75% of the time. Pau has a few songs she does full lead singing on, and is the primary songwriter for the band, beginning the songs on piano before bringing them to her sisters to turn them into full-blown rock songs. These girls are killers, and you can't really go wrong with anything from this show. I'll throw my vote in for Kool Aid Kids, and for Animosity.

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They just finished a spectacular tour of South America and are touring Mexico for the rest of 2023. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise; in March 2024 they will play at the P’al Norte Festival in Tecate; and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. I suppose it would have been great for you to have been able to attend last year's Rock al Parque festival in Colombia, where The Warning performed just before Epica among the most anticipated shows of that day.

If you sort their Videos page by "Oldest" you'll be taken back to their toddler days learning piano and their individual instruments, followed by their development as a band starting with their first appearance in a Christmas show in 2012, and as youngsters playing covers in 2013-14.
To answer some of your questions. The guitar player is the lead singer. The drummer takes lead on a few songs, and shares lead on others, like this song. They all do backing vocals and are amazing when the 3 sisters harmonize like that. After a few songs you will start to get a feel for which voice is which. But yeah, they change it up a lot and keep you on your toes. To make things even more interesting, the bass player has done lead on a few songs to give her sister a break when she isn't feeling well. She also has a great voice but prefers to not be in that situation.
Currently (2023, at ages 23, 21, and 18) The Warning has 4 LP albums and 49 original songs, with many live versions on CZcams. Their fifth album is currently in post production. There is a lot of music to explore. Once they started writing their own music, they decided early to only do originals. The only "cover" song they do currently is Enter Sandman. I'd suggest doing the 2014 cover, then their remake for the BlackList album in 2021, then the 2022 live version from Teatro Metropolitan.
Great reaction! It's nothing new to be new to The Warning, although they just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band. I had never heard of them until last year when, totally randomly, I wandered by the stage where they were going to play at Summerfest. The name of the band sounded cool, and I liked their logo, so why not give them a try? They then came out and proceeded to blow me away like no band I've heard in years...maybe ever. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2013 (when they were 13, 11, and 8 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto CZcams. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for and won many Independent Music awards in 2019. They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! This Teatro Metropolitan concert is top notch! The Warning just did 3 more professionally produced shows in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City (CDMX) that will likely be the basis for another Gold Standard video concert release. A majority of their fanbase, The Warning Army (TWA), have likely watched all 3 shows through livestreams or fan produced videos which will only serve to increase the anticipation for the official release. I suggest you watch the Full Concert video song by song from the beginning. That way, you get the flow and feel of the concert and where the songs were performed in relation to one another. The Warning are: Daniela Villarreal 23, guitar, vocals; Paulina V. 21,drums, vocals; Alejandra V. 18, bass, vocals. They all play keyboards/ piano since they were 4 to 6 years old. They perforformed classical piano recitals up until they started playing together as a band. They just celebrated their first 10 years as a band at their concert in Guadalajara. This year, they toured Europe for the first time, opened for Muse at 9 of their shows, and perforformed at the MTV VMAs Exteneded Stage. Also, Daniela received a custom Manson guitar gifted to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse and part owner of Manson Guitars. Their VMA performances of their songs "More" and "Evolve" are spectacular. Last year, they toured with Halestorm for 38 shows. At the Irving TX show, Lzzy Hale interrupted their set and gifted Daniela a custom white Gibson Explorer on stage. They also opened for Foo Fighters last March, 10 days prior to Taylor Hawkins death. And they opened for Guns n Roses last October and once this year in Hollywood, Florida. Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). For me, this is the best rock band on the planet, and the best live band I've ever experienced. In fact I prefer their live recordings over studio. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have at least one song in their catalog that I dislike or am "meh" about. Not sure they'll ever be able to have a Greatest Hits album because it would include every song they have. I discovered these young ladies in January of 2022. I had not been to a live show since the early 2000s. I've now seen TW 5 times and can't wait for more. They are fantastic live and its an experience I've never had with any other band. After the show you just want more and the next thing you know you're driving 12 hours to see them a few days later, or you're flying from all parts of the globe just to see them perform live. If you continue down this rabbit hole I guarantee you will not be disappointed. With a catalogue of nearly 50 original songs there is not a single bad song among them. I dare anyone to find one! With a wide range of styles incorporated into their music, every song is unique with no two songs sounding alike. Yet even with this fact, they have created a sound mixed into every song that is undeniably their own. They are The Warning, and I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. Welcome to The Warning! This is a duet! They ALL sing...but Dany on guitar (23) is the main vocalist. Pau on drums (21) sings lead in several songs. Ale on bass (18) sings lead occasionally if Dany needs vocal rest. About 50 original songs. They just celebrated 10 years as a band. They had an incredible version of Enter Sandman on the Metallica Blacklist album and they went viral back in 2014 BECAUSE of their cover of Enter Sandman. However, their own version is LEGENDARY. Welcome to The Warning! You've already gotten plenty of info, but it really can't be overstated how good they are live. They also don't know how to write a bad song. Whether it's high energy like this song, or power ballads, they make them all sound amazing. My favourites from this concert are Narcisista (where Pau had some fun), Evolve, Survive, and well, all the other ones! In Survive they even do little movements sync'd between Ale and Dany, and Ale and Pow during the choruses. The rabbit hole goes deep with them, so here's to your new addiction! A week ago or so, they just had their best live concert ever in Mexico city at Pepsi center in a headline show for 8000 people. More than twice the capacity of the Met Teather. Sure they had played infront to 50-60 k people as an opening band, but they will eventually get there with their own show in some years from now. They are just enjoying the ride now and conquering new audiences step by step. These ladies deserve the world, they are so lovely and down to earth persons including their team, that every follower they have will always be there to support their growth. And going back to that show, it was pretty spectacular (with two new kick ass songs).
The lead singer/guitarist is Dany who sings 80% of the leads. Pau, the drummer sings about 10% of the leads and the other 10% they share the lead back and forth as in this song. 💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽

They have a bunch of original songs and some cover songs. All their albums are original songs and they have done cover songs for You Tube and some while touring. Of the original songs I would recommend Evolve, Survive from, TedX in 2017, When I am Alone, Z, and to see the drummer sing lead try Dust to Dust. I can't go without saying you may want to check out their cover of Enter Sandman in 2014 which the video went viral and is when they first got noticed. Along with the cover of the original, you may want to check out their version of Enter Sandman done in collab with Alessia Cara that was released a couple years ago. Excellent reaction Daniel! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. 🗣 Subscribed! 👊😃
Only Dany the lead singer sang with Three Days Grace last November. All three got the flubut Ale got it last. Their second album is an concept Album so right now they have 3albums and a EP and working on their 4th Album.
Be very careful with the Warning their rabbit hole is very deep. You can go all the way back to 2014 where it started but to begin I would say pick anything from the Teatro metropolitan concert and you can’t go wrong. Enjoy they have opened for Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses, and last summer Muse in Europe. So talented voices, musicianship and songwriting. You need to get caught up before the new album drops probably in the next couple months. Enjoy we all do.

The first time I watched a The Warning video was about 5 years ago. I remember also saying Wow! then I stayed up all night watching everything and learning so much more that impressed me beyond any previous expectation. I have seen them 3 times Live now and they are INCREDIBLE
In a live chat they said they were going to do some high production shows like this once a year. Well they did 3 shows last week where they hired the same people that did this one. They blew things up. They debuted 2 new songs that rock hard. Then they had a string symphony section on with them doing a couple of a songs. All 3 girls are top notch keyboard players. They rolled out a grand piano and Pau came down and played 2 fan favorite acoustic songs. One of them she had never done live because she said it was to emotional. She teared up and the crowd took over singing it. It was awesome. Pau sings lead on around 25% of their songs. Ale hates singing lead but has a great voice. There are many video's of her sing lead on a song when Dany is having vocal problems..
*a little history:*
many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany, Pau [like "POW!"], and Ale [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music...
in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... there are now three renditions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original close to true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined, and several of DPA/TW playing it in concert where it somehow comes out even darker and more foreboding bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it...
DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along...
Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was still quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her Specter 5-string... since she was 15 years old, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist... her Specter bass has a 35" neck on it and the coloring on the body is named "Ale's Inferno"... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today...
Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was two years ago so she has 15 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old...
Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing...
Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live...
today the girls are 23 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 21 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 18 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... in some of their early concerts, you can tell the altitude catches them out a bit... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Met Theater in CDMX holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)...
some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure...
additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and finishing up their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe...
i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey...

@@hardknox1917 I know that's the story that makes the rounds but DPA has said several times in interviews that Metallica contacted them directly. You wont find the official music video anywhere but on their channel. In fact, check out Wikipedia, third paragraph where it reads,
"In preparation for the project, Metallica invited some musicians who had gained notice for covering other Metallica songs in the past, such as the Warning,[5] the Hu,[6] and Rodrigo y Gabriela.[7] Metallica then invited artists from a variety of genres to contribute unique interpretations of the songs.[8]..."

The drummers name is Pau (POW!), and she sang the second verse, the quiet bridge, and back up here to Dany, the main lead singer who sang the first verse. Dany sings lead about 75% of the time. Pau has a few songs she does full lead singing on, and is the primary songwriter for the band, beginning the songs on piano before bringing them to her sisters to turn them into full-blown rock songs.
These girls are killers, and you can't really go wrong with anything from this show. I'll throw my vote in for Kool Aid Kids, and for Animosity.

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They just finished a spectacular tour of South America and are touring Mexico for the rest of 2023. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise; in March 2024 they will play at the P’al Norte Festival in Tecate; and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany.
All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015.
They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 49 original songs in an EP, three albums, two singles, and two unreleased but performed songs. No bad songs. Their newest released single, More, came out May 12th. Two new unreleased songs were debuted at their Guadalajara concert. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from the August 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold!
When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.

Seriously....I was happy when you found Epica. Now you have found my second favorite band, I am truly excited. These ladies are actual real-life musical angels. You just did Epica's live Retrospect. Now Its time for The Warning's Live performance of their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene". It is nothing short of spectacular. They wrote it as teenagers.
I suppose it would have been great for you to have been able to attend last year's Rock al Parque festival in Colombia, where The Warning performed just before Epica among the most anticipated shows of that day.

If you sort their Videos page by "Oldest" you'll be taken back to their toddler days learning piano and their individual instruments, followed by their development as a band starting with their first appearance in a Christmas show in 2012, and as youngsters playing covers in 2013-14.
To answer some of your questions.
The guitar player is the lead singer. The drummer takes lead on a few songs, and shares lead on others, like this song. They all do backing vocals and are amazing when the 3 sisters harmonize like that. After a few songs you will start to get a feel for which voice is which. But yeah, they change it up a lot and keep you on your toes.
To make things even more interesting, the bass player has done lead on a few songs to give her sister a break when she isn't feeling well. She also has a great voice but prefers to not be in that situation.
Currently (2023, at ages 23, 21, and 18) The Warning has 4 LP albums and 49 original songs, with many live versions on CZcams. Their fifth album is currently in post production. There is a lot of music to explore. Once they started writing their own music, they decided early to only do originals. The only "cover" song they do currently is Enter Sandman. I'd suggest doing the 2014 cover, then their remake for the BlackList album in 2021, then the 2022 live version from Teatro Metropolitan.

I had never heard of them until last year when, totally randomly, I wandered by the stage where they were going to play at Summerfest. The name of the band sounded cool, and I liked their logo, so why not give them a try? They then came out and proceeded to blow me away like no band I've heard in years...maybe ever. In my humble opinion. The best new Rockband of this millennium. Yes! They are amazing, for extreme energy watch their recent MTV VMA performances of “ Evolve” and “More”.
The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2013 (when they were 13, 11, and 8 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed.
Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto CZcams. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for and won many Independent Music awards in 2019.
They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and Muse. They are now touring the world playing festivals and headlining concerts of their own.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. The Warning are: Daniela Villarreal 23, guitar, vocals; Paulina V. 21,drums, vocals; Alejandra V. 18, bass, vocals. They all play keyboards/ piano since they were 4 to 6 years old. They perforformed classical piano recitals up until they started playing together as a band. They just celebrated their first 10 years as a band at their concert in Guadalajara.
This year, they toured Europe for the first time, opened for Muse at 9 of their shows, and perforformed at the MTV VMAs Exteneded Stage. Also, Daniela received a custom Manson guitar gifted to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse and part owner of Manson Guitars.
Their VMA performances of their songs "More" and "Evolve" are spectacular.
Last year, they toured with Halestorm for 38 shows. At the Irving TX show, Lzzy Hale interrupted their set and gifted Daniela a custom white Gibson Explorer on stage. They also opened for Foo Fighters last March, 10 days prior to Taylor Hawkins death. And they opened for Guns n Roses last October and once this year in Hollywood, Florida. They were going to open for them at an earlier show but canceled to attend the VMAs.

Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). For me, this is the best rock band on the planet, and the best live band I've ever experienced. In fact I prefer their live recordings over studio. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have at least one song in their catalog that I dislike or am "meh" about. Not sure they'll ever be able to have a Greatest Hits album because it would include every song they have. I discovered these young ladies in January of 2022. I had not been to a live show since the early 2000s. I've now seen TW 5 times and can't wait for more. They are fantastic live and its an experience I've never had with any other band. After the show you just want more and the next thing you know you're driving 12 hours to see them a few days later, or you're flying from all parts of the globe just to see them perform live. And they are the nicest, down to earth people you could ever hope to meet. Every song from the Teatro Metropolitan video is excellent. TWA members should be filing in with more info. If you continue down this rabbit hole I guarantee you will not be disappointed. With a catalogue of nearly 50 original songs there is not a single bad song among them. I dare anyone to find one! With a wide range of styles incorporated into their music, every song is unique with no two songs sounding alike. Yet even with this fact, they have created a sound mixed into every song that is undeniably their own. They are The Warning, and I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition.
It is not just the fact that they are masters of their individual instruments, or the fact that they write their own music and lyrics. All three of them sing. You checked out THE best live all band version of The Warning videos. Well played. There is plenty more great, but for me this is their peak video/sound quality/live offering. And Pau ate her very, very best vocal/drumming.
Welcome to The Warning! You've already gotten plenty of info, but it really can't be overstated how good they are live. They also don't know how to write a bad song. Whether it's high energy like this song, or power ballads, they make them all sound amazing. My favourites from this concert are Narcisista (where Pau had some fun), Evolve, Survive, and well, all the other ones! In Survive they even do little movements sync'd between Ale and Dany, and Ale and Pow during the choruses.
The rabbit hole goes deep with them, so here's to your new addiction! And as we say in TWA: You Have Been Warned!

3 sisters from Mexico who love to rock and as you can see they do. They write and perform in their second language which is amazing. Best live in person or at least live videos 21 more songs from this show all exceptionally good. These ladies are young Dany 23 lead vocals guitar Pau (Pow) drums 21 lead/backing vocals and Ale 18 bass backing vocals does sing lead at times all 3 play the piano. Just celebrated 10 years as a band in their hometown in Mexico last week. These 3 sisters are amazing and have been performing for 10 years now. Albeit that they are gaining traction at the moment. I have discovered The Warning for just over 3 years now . I live in Liverpool,England, and have travelled to Texas to watch 3 shows, also 2 shows in London England.
These girls are phenomenal live and welcome to The Warning. This is a great concert with great audio and video. This concert has 22 songs and everyone is a banger. Pick any. I love Dust to Dust, Dull Knives, Survive, Animosity, Choke, and Evolve, although every song is great.

Maybe do a double reaction and check out their Enter Sandman cover from about 9 years ago and then do their reimagined version of Enter Sandman from this same venue,Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 8/29/2022 just so you get an idea just how good they were as teen/pre-teen age and then have your mind blown with the new one.

A week ago or so, they just had their best live concert ever in Mexico city at Pepsi center in a headline show for 8000 people. More than twice the capacity of the Met Teather. Sure they had played infront to 50-60 k people as an opening band, but they will eventually get there with their own show in some years from now. They are just enjoying the ride now and conquering new audiences step by step. These ladies deserve the world, they are so lovely and down to earth persons including their team, that every follower they have will always be there to support their growth. And going back to that show, it was pretty spectacular (with two new kick ass songs).
The lead singer/guitarist is Dany who sings 80% of the leads. Pau, the drummer sings about 10% of the leads and the other 10% they share the lead back and forth as in this song. 💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽
Welcome to TWA (The Warning Army) and all I can say is 'You Have Been Warned.' Hope you decide to react to more of this band and go down the rabbit hole. They have a bunch of original songs and some cover songs. All their albums are original songs and they have done cover songs for You Tube and some while touring. Of the original songs I would recommend Evolve, Survive from, TedX in 2017, When I am Alone, Z, and to see the drummer sing lead try Dust to Dust. I can't go without saying you may want to check out their cover of Enter Sandman in 2014 which the video went viral and is when they first got noticed. Along with the cover of the original, you may want to check out their version of Enter Sandman done in collab with Alessia Cara that was released a couple years ago. Have fun if you go down the rabbit hole. Trust me, they do not have a bad song.

The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Only Dany the lead singer sang with Three Days Grace last November. All three got the flubut Ale got it last. Their second album is an concept Album so right now they have 3albums and a EP and working on their 4th Album.

Be very careful with the Warning their rabbit hole is very deep. You can go all the way back to 2014 where it started but to begin I would say pick anything from the Teatro metropolitan concert and you can’t go wrong. Enjoy they have opened for Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses, and last summer Muse in Europe. So talented voices, musicianship and songwriting. You need to get caught up before the new album drops probably in the next couple months. Enjoy we all do.

The first time I watched a The Warning video was about 5 years ago. I remember also saying Wow! then I stayed up all night watching everything and learning so much more that impressed me beyond any previous expectation. I have seen them 3 times Live now and they are INCREDIBLE

In a live chat they said they were going to do some high production shows like this once a year. Well they did 3 shows last week where they hired the same people that did this one. They blew things up. They debuted 2 new songs that rock hard. Then they had a string symphony section on with them doing a couple of a songs. All 3 girls are top notch keyboard players. They rolled out a grand piano and Pau came down and played 2 fan favorite acoustic songs. One of them she had never done live because she said it was to emotional. She teared up and the crowd took over singing it. It was awesome. Pau sings lead on around 25% of their songs. Ale hates singing lead but has a great voice. There are many video's of her sing lead on a song when Dany is having vocal problems..
They were in Baltimore Md, 2022 and May 2023. I wish I could have gone!
