Thanks for watching!!!
I did mine last year also, great set piece. Going to try the water tracing dye you mentioned below this year, I used some I had for my pool, but I had to add a LOT of it to get it to work. I like the idea of dual blacklights also, I have just one in the can and one shining up on the can. I used spray foam on mine to make it look like it was "frothy" and sprayed it green, so the blacklight lights it up pretty good.
Did you use any special green paint for the drip around the can?
Thx for watching! I used a basic bright green acrylic paint for the outside drip effect. I'd recommend doing it in the grass and not on your driveway lol! This was a fun project, good luck on yours!
Hey man, great job on the prop! What size tubing did you use and where did you get it? You remember roughly how long it was?
It was 3/4 tubing from Menards (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) ....had to cut it to length. I think the shortest they sold it was 6ft. Then I used zip ties to secure it. Was a fairly easy diy.....thx for watchin!
Hi, where did you get the labels on the outside of the bucket? the toxic waste, etc ...
Thx 4 watchin! I found them on Amazon.com...not too spendy, lots of options
Awesome. Can u please give info on the pump you used? Thanks
GROWNEER 550GPH Submersible Pump... www.amazon.com/dp/B07MDBYTLS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Here is a link from Amazon...works great so far!! I just use a pool net to take out bugs and leaves so the pump won't clog
thank you!@@StewarTV
Did you put any other paint on the skeleton or just the green arcylic(sp?)?
Just green acrylic paint....it dried out after a few weeks, so I'll probably add more
Looks great! What wattage are the blacklights?
Onforu 2 Pack 30W LED Black... www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGV5B7R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
That is the link from when I ordered them on Amazon. 1 would probably work ok, 2 is almost 2 bright IMO. Thx 4 watching!
Thanks, i have other decor that would use the extra light.
HI, great job. Can you let me know which green dye you used? Thanks
Green Water Tracing & Leak... www.amazon.com/dp/B00LEM6UOI?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Got it from Amazon....a little goes a long way, but looks great during the day or at night with black lights
Was it all green dye or did you mix with water?
@hawaynboy definitely mixed with water. Once I filled it with water, added a cap full or so of dye...a little goes a long way. I've added a lil extra maybe twice but it holds the green color a long time
What did you put in the water to make it glow?
Thx for watching! I used green pool dye...here's the link: a.co/d/bZV0WyQ
