What you did is pretty cool, but I prefer mine to be static.
I used a multicolored led flood light from Amazon (lately only been using just the red color) and was able to fit it in pretty well in the front part of the collarbone. I don’t buy very many store bought props (cause I make my own) but of course I HAD to have this 12’ skeleton, and I at least want to buy one more. The only other thing I did was darken up his bones some. I did sections at a time by using black spray paint, then wiping it off so it darkened the details more and only lightly darkened the raised portions of the bone.
i bypassed the eye light switch by taking out the battery box and soldering the wires together. mine came with an ac adapter and i use a dawn/dusk timer. my led kit also came with a splitter.
