It’s amazing looking at the game so far back. Like as a f2p rn my roster would be better than every whale 🐳/ Kraken at the time; which is odd to think about I suppose.

I'm loving Nihilus! Plus his basic lowers the DeathButton cooldown per buff it dispels, so those crazy heal over times from barris zeta vs your zader, or Chirrut are going to spell so much death on the opposing team.
Really looking forward to unlocking him in the next event!
Darth Nihilus is honestly one of my new favorite characters.He is so powerful and as you said in the Video,the animations are sick. Sadly i have to wait till the last Event started to unlock him
I know! General Kenobi and Palpatine are my all time favorite characters in this game but Nihilus might be coming up on top of my list.... I'm hoping the pack they release won't be so expensive that it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths like what happened with Krennic. No one wants to even hear about him anymore!

Congrats on General Kenobi. Unfortunately my guild can't beat heroic AAT yet so going to be awhile before I finally get him. Wish I at least had an ally that had General Kenobi to help with LS 9B hard.
Darth Nihilus is just amazing, not only the animations but also his skills are awesome!!!
Seriously! The devs hit all the right spots. Good animations, good (well more like super amazing kit) and sound effects! What more could you want?!
Nihilus seems amazing for anything with multiple stages. I am lvl 50 right now and I basically managed to solo those lvl 80 tanks with DN. However, I'm afraid he wont be all that great in arena. Most games are over before he can annihilate his first victim. Still I'm looking forward to hopefully unlocking him on Saturday.
The drain force animation is almost identical to the one in KoTOR and it's wonderful

I only just hit level 70 today and was 69 doing the level 80+ event and Nihilus actually solo'd the entire last two phases of the event on his own under a Luminara lead for the extra evasion. Absolutely awesome character!

The combination of Sith Assassin and Darth Nihilus with Vader and gang is going to be insane!!!!!
Drain force will take off cool down for annihilation based on how many enemy are debuffed. So if there are 5 enemies debuffed it will take 5 off the turn meter. Feakn awesome. Love this character.
I was so glad I could actually complete all 4 tiers were easy even with just a few sith. I've never had more fun than with Nihilus. Annihilate... or should I say Ahnnihilate is so cool!

The only reason why I completed the last stage as a level 60 is because of nihilus

RAiN lol im level 44 and he basically 1v6d the entire mission and won with that health steal
Same. My team got wiped in the first round, but Nihilus made it to the third round and killed one of the Shore Troopers and one of the Death Troopers. From there, I said 'what the hell', and assigned Darth Vader as lead to give bonus damage to Sith. After a few tries and enough luck to resist the ability block attacks, I used Annihilation against Krennic and turned the battle in my favor. All in all, Nihilus took on 13 toons by himself and won.
Ooh Ahnald! Just thought! I assume you have the pleasure of revealing the last Quality of Life update tomorrow! Exciting!!

Nihilius is bonkers!! He's going to be SO MUCH FUN. I'm loving how much fun the devs are having with abilities and synergies in this game! The new mod meta for this faction will be interesting to see. Speed and offense?
Yeah they have so many new tools and that is why we are seeing these kits evolve so much from the classic characters! Critical damage/chance is definitely out of the picture for sure under this leader. I'm leaning more towards offense but you might be right about speed.
I actually completed all 4 this time around. I used Vader (L Not Zeta yet), Royal Guard, Luminara, Rex and Fives all are LvL 80 (expect Vader who is LvL 82), Gear 8 and with majority Mrk 3 mods and some Mrk 5 Health mods on Luminara. Only Royal Guard died in the final wave of Tier 4. Darth Nihilus is an absolute beast.

I did the whole thing as level 45, with nihilus soloing the fourth level, but it had alot of luck in it too. :)
Finishing a match with Annihilate is always satisfying. :D

@ahnald t101 I think your reaction to Nihilus is well merited. He's crazy. However I think you were too impatient in using drainforce. I would recommend using it after vader or palpatine use their aoe debuff so you have a guaranteed 5 turn reduction on annihilate. Can't wait for the Darth Maul review!

Annihilate doesn't instantly kill the rancor but it drops the rancor almost 3%

:D I need to work on getting maul as well. My Sith are really lacking but I think I can get decent sith team geared up by this fall. But I could also spend the rest of year getting ready for the upcoming First Order and Resistance Meta around the time Ep VIII comes out. Decisions, decisions.
Lost all but Nihilus in round one of tier 4. Managed to solo all 3 battles with just nihilus. he is BONKERS!!!

I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but Darth Nihilus soloed tier 4 for me. I'm a lvl 62 and had no chance to beat it with my troops. But I decided to try it anyway. All of my troops died on the first wave and then Nihilus went beast mode and beat the other 2 waves. Darth Maul's lead with Nihilus' health steal and his 1 shot kill ability is insane. I couldn't believe it when it happened. I hope that Ahnald can see this comment.

Man, I wish my guild was better. we can clear a t5 in less than a day but they refuse to do a t6 even though we can smash it in 3 days. Loved the video by the way, was missing a few uploads because of school work (1100 word essay 😔) but glad I can catch up now.

I atually think that the animation on his basic attack is not only his sexiest animation, but the sexiest in the entire game
Ahnald I think ahsoka might return if Darth Nhilus becomes the meta due to her unique ability being based around her special buffs she looses when she is critically hit. The good thing for ahsoka is that she won't loose the buffs because she won't be critically hit.
Oooooooh very good thought! Forgot about that. No way to stop that unless you have some non-sith on your team that can do critical damage.

hey Ahnald! just had a thought. did eaJesse give any hints of another raid? i was thinking back when you mentioned about possibly having empire characters unlocking jedi luke just like rebels unlocking palpatine, but if ea is developing another raid, do you think that jedi luke could be unlocked that way considering he is one of the pivotal characters in the star wars universe

Also yeah, it's crazy to look back and remember how some characters came to the game. Like Shoretrooper. Does anyone else remember how Shoretrooper came to the game.

Ahnald T101 If you are going to do an In-depth review on Captain Phasma, I have her Zeta'd so I could probably send you gameplay with a full First Order team if that's okay with you
Think about using Nihlus with high speed so he goes first in arena and using his special that gives cooldowns to everyone so they can only basic on their turns and then having the cooldown of annihilatenat 2 turns then using calling an assist with him and removing taunt from say Baze then hes got it back up to 1 shot someone. Alot of posibilities
Oh yeah. I'm thinking if you can maybe get Vader out early right before Nihilus this could help him reset that cool down super fast to get Baze out of the picture ASAP.

So you know how Darth Nihilus's leader ability prevents crits? Well, when I was using a Darth Vader lead with Wiggs, I used Bigg's assist, and when it called either Vader or Nihilus to assist, they scored a crit hit.
I unlocked my Kenobi today as well.

Firstly my leader in arena is Nihilus secondly there is a bug or something where chirrut and ewok elder can heal sith under a Nihilus for some reason
when i did this event i managed to complete the lv 80 with darth nihilus soloing as my other heros all at lv 73 were killed by the start of the 2nd round
He's such a beast! Doing a whole event solo is nothing to laugh about!
eventhought undr th3 leaderability prevents sith from critical hitting if you use biggs darklighter you can get them to crit
it doesn't matter that they can't score critical hits because his leader ability also gives like +60% offense, a little more than a critical hit of a character unmodded
this Nihilus will definitely destroy the current Empire ...Chaze...and Wiggs meta in the arena
One should note that Nihilus was only that good during the event because of the 70% health steal you get with him as a lead. That being said, he mopped the floor with 13 Shore Troopers, Death Troopers, and Krennic by himself. I'm still geeking out over that. Nihilus in SWGOH is everything he should have been in KotOR II.
I have done the event with ease since I use a Sith team for arena. I am just curious as to if Nihilus will be able to increase the cooldowns of raid bosses such as the rancor. Increasing the cooldowns of moves like devour and possibly even the enrage cooldown would be unbelievable !

Jesus nihlus is so good all my characters are about lvl 60 but when I went to do the 80+ one my entire team got rekt except for him and I only won because of him this guy is gonna be lit

He did the last two rounds of tier 4 on his own. That has to be the most powerful character I have seen since playing this game for 2 months. Is the instant death ability really needed ?, seems like an OP ability to me.
If both sides have him in arena then it will come down to speed as to which Darth Nihilus wins.
Funny thing is that the version you and I are using in this event is not even a truly maxed out Nihilus.... just image how much stronger he will be when you mod him, gear him all the way, and level him up to 85!! 0,o
Ahnald T101. Yep, truly scary that. He will have to be taken out first in battle when against him, stunned or ability blocked.
Hey Ahnald, who should I focus on for a Tank ? Royal Guard ( currently 4* , g7 ) or Sun Fac ( currently 5* , g7 ), also 5 zetas away from Zader, which one would help me more in a Zader or Palpatine lead or in Overall ? thanks

To speak to the damage though, just remember that you are using Vader lead and getting an extra 30% damage boost. In arena it will be less.
Yes very true! At least we can get an idea of what it would be like if we added offense mods to everyone since that would give off 30% more damage.
That's a great point. The beauty of Nihilus lead is you no longer have to worry about those crit damage and crit chance. You can load up on potency, tenacity, speed, and offense!
