I love all the old republic/KOTOR characters in this game. HK-47 is good but nihilius is op. I just wish reven, bastila, carth and the two partners mission and... zablar? Idk. But they could have like a bond type thing. The sith assassin looks dope to. I also love all the names of nihilius’ moves. Like lord of hunger. Sounds so dark... I LOVE IT

Great video. Darth Nihilus became one of my favorites as soon as he was released. One thing to note though, is that all of his attacks are special, so armor penetration actually doesn't mean anything to him, and its the resistance penetration that matters, which is handy because most characters have lower resistance than armor.

This one guy is enough to clear the last stage of places of power; assuming you played tactically on it
I've been rocking Nihilus lead with vader, sith trooper, sith assassin and savage in galactic wars and all i can say is they can entirely solo galactic with practically 10% hp loss at the end of it
So many videos of you are at the top when I search to see what these new (new to me) characters can do. Keep it up !

I would love Savage Oppress, Count Cooku, or Darth Sidious. However, I think more people would get greater value out of a Savage video (if you're only looking to do one more).

Ahnaldt, please review savage oppress because he got the rework and i just see so many people using him. Also, where would you place Darth Vader now because he has the zeta leadership ability? You put him in Knight but I think he deserves to be higher.
Also Ahnaldt, I think you made a mistake in the protection table but nihilus had 33k protection while the max was 29k ??????
Yu Olivier Li I'll see how many votes Savage gets to see if he is getting a review! I'll keep my thoughts on Darth Vader's ranking a surprise for when I rework my table ;) And yeah I noticed the protection typo myself. I'll have it fixed next time. No idea where that number under Sun Fac came from.
I'll second a Savage vote! I've had him 7-stars for a long time and really enjoy him... with all the love Sith have gotten recently, I'm curious what your thoughts on him would be!

I do have Savage, he's pretty good :) Gets buffs all the time, inflicts Offense debuff, 50%-health-one-shot-kill (perfect for tough opponents during events), and easy to gear :) I have him under Zador lead, it's fun!
He just needs his own ship!

All the Sith are pretty interesting right now, but I'll put a vote in for Sith Assassin for the new characters, and Savage for the reworks.

More importantly though, I love Nihilus in this game. His kit is so awesome to use, and I have to say using a Sith Team in GW under his lead has made is certainly more bearable! Not to mention his animations and sounds.. Phwoa. Can't wait to get him to gear 11, mines at gear 9 right now, waiting on damned droid callers... Keep up the Good work Ahnald, loving the In-Depth character reviews. (Waiting on Revan next, or maybe the triumvirate :)

Nihilus is indeed a monster at 3*, but I feel that the benefit of star count is slightly underestimated here. Aside from health, starring also increases physical damage, special damage, critical chance, resistance, and, most significantly, armor. The gigantic boost in armor is often overlooked and makes a big difference to the resilience of a character. That being said, the cost to star up is too steep at the moment. However, if you can get #1 at arena each day, you can buy one pack of Nihilus every 2-3 days, netting you ~65 shards. You can essentially get him to 5* for free.
I think Jedi needs a buff especially made windu. For example Sith have maul who does double damage to Jedi. Literally Mace Windu fighting Vapepad is the hardest counter to Sith. Using their power against them.
But made is no good end game I would love so seem get a buff where. If he is attacked by a Sith he gets 100% chance to counter(maybe high percent to crit on stop of that counter and out right fighting sith).
Or give him the same bonus that Maul has but against Sith. Let me know what you think.

Just got darth nihilus tonight amazing love the instant kill special is amazing.
Ahnald, the cooldown on his AOE when using his basic is not for each buff removed. if you notice when you use it, the skill is at 2 for that turn. so if there was no buff removed it would be 1 the next turn anyway. so the cooldown was only actually reduced by 1 with the basic attack. and 1 with going on to the next turn. FYI

I am pretty sure, that Boba revived after i tried to "anninhilate" him with Nihilus. Of course he had the bounty hunter's resolve.

Make sure you omega his annihilate ability! When you omega it that is when characters are not allowed to be revived.

In the latest update Nihilus can remove the ability from Boba to respawn, also if you want to increase Nihilus level in the field put him on the lead with Sith allies to gain more health
Wish I had seen this video when it first game out, because I've probably spent nearly 2000 crystals buying shards for Nihilus from the Shipments, and I did spend 1299 on a Lord of Hunger pack when he first came out(got 5 shards from that...).
still in shock atm, I just got him from a 350 crystals pack, and got yoda today so its a great day

Thanks a lot for all the videos. I usually agree with your reviews, but I think you should reconsider the grand master class: DN is only useful in a Sith team, much like Maul.
EP, GK, Rex, SF and Boba truly are versatile and be in any team and be dangerous. Whereas DN needs a Zaul lead to be truly dangerous.
Hey there! Of course people may vary in their opinion and my videos are not gospel. You make some great points for reasons I would normally knock down someone from grand master to master but I did find a lot of use in him outside of sith. I've tried him with Rex teams and others have tossed him in Chirrut and Baze teams. To me he is essentially Boba Fett for the Sith! Boba Fett can ability block everyone and DN can increase everyone's cooldowns by one. They both do the same thing essentially. But you are right he does work amazingly well under Zaul!

Neo2551 disagree. I put him in my teams for the challenges and he helped me beat the last tier for healers and support. He's definitely solid in any line up, but thrives with sith.

My favourite character in the game
I have him (3*) as a leader with a 4* savage, 4* Vader, 7* Chewie (CW), and 6* Boba. It's beast, very sustainable team, but I want more sith to put alongside him.
Darth Nielius is like Obi-Wan in this game. Obi-Wan wasn't very attuned in the Force but he made up for it with training and dedication.
Armor penetration is useless for Nihilus as he deals exclusively Special Damage, which armor doesn't affect. Look at his Resistance penetration.
Great video Ahnald! Personally, I wouid love to see a Count Dooku review after he got his zeta, shock, uncounterable basic attacks, and his effectiveness against more than just jedi's. Also, who do you think benefited the most from the sith reworks?
Zayd Abdalla Yeah I'm really excited for review Dooku! Although an annoying character when the enemy has him it's fun when he's on your side. And in my opinion I think Sidious got the best mini-rework! The expose on everyone is deadly and he's fast!
Count Dooku next, please. I see you have Sidious in a lot of your Sith groups with Nihilus, but I'm really curious how Dooku is since his rework on your scale for fitting in with Nihilus. All the extra hits he does . . . . he would be stealing health like crazy.
Honestly Nihilius is General Kenobi levels of good. he roflstomps time out teams in arena and most importantly destroys chaze teams.

They should give Nihilus a spot in the cantina battle ninth node battles, that way he can be obtainable but would take a bit.
They'll probably do it in a few months after the people who spent their money had their fun. The second he becomes F2P I'll be farming him as soon as possible!
ahnald ceaseless craving only reduces the cooldown by a maximum of 1. the reason it reset with a 2 turn cooldown is because he has to wait one turn to use the ability

For the sith vote, please skip Vader and Palpy (I know you've done them already and I think a Zeta Vader should go higher in the hall of fame) since there are a ton of videos about them. I'd rather see about the reworked siths. I don't use Savage, I always thought he didn't bring much to the table, maybe an In-Depth review would be great. Also, I'd like a Sidious review (too be honest, I'd like a Sith Assasin review too, and a Count Dooku, and so on). But Sid and Savage would be my first choices.
Finally (sorry to take so long), you said in the video you're running an entire sith team for arena without tanks. I'd like to know which characters and gear levels, 'cause I'm heading in that direction too, but only have Nihilus, Palpatine and Maul really high.

Juan Candal Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah Vader is going to get bumped up since my old Vader review is ancient. I'm looking to try and get reviews of dooku, Sidious, and savage. Lots of people are interested in them since they went FTP. Dooku was especially fun under a Nihilus lead! Regarding my sith lineup everyone is gear 11! I invested my gear in them a long time ago hoping a Sith meta would come. My mods are about above average and they work really well.

Halfway to 6 stars. Uggggghhhh what a grind.
Not 100% sure if you accounted for this with the basic reducing cooldown of drainforce. It definitely reduced it by at least one but was it reduced for the second time because of the second effect dispelled or because he used a turn? To find out for sure you would need to have drain force on a cooldown of 3 and dispel someone with two buffs.
I ain't gay but 20 dollars is 20 dollars Yeah it's really hard to demonstrate it but that's what I was told about his basic from verified sources. It's just hard to showcase it since drain force has a low cooldown.
The only scenario in which this might work is if Nihilus gains retribution from GK and then proceeds to counter an enemy that has 2 or more buffs. Any other way then Nihilus will never have a cooldown of 3 on his force drain.

Great content! Will you do Sith trooper next? He is awesome under Nihilus lead, ESPECIALLY the health steal and especially with his omega special, he is basically a pretaunter with insane amount of health and armor! I had him solo against quigon and leia once, and I have no idea if it’s a bug or anything, but he counters every attack of leia's multiattack, which means he could counter up to 3-4 times when leia assist!

Ahhhhhh simpler times
I run a team of Zader Lead, Palpatine, Shoretrooper, TFP and Boba Fett. One of your typical meta teams. I want to fit Nihilus into this team but simply can't and need help. Boba was my first choice but Boba is faster than Nihilus. So usually I open with TFP, then Boba, then Palpatine, then Vader and so on. If I take Boba out, it's my TFP, then it's their TFP and then it's their Boba blocking everything and whatever and whatnot. Taking out Boba breaks the "food chain" so to speak.
If I take Palpatine, I lose AoE stun and Shock. If I take Shoretrooper out, Wiggs teams will one-shot someone. TFP as well as Zader are, obviosly, out of the question.
So yeah, help? How can I fit Nihilus into a Zader team? Maybe better mods? Or something else?
