    so to make sure im getting this right for example on youtube you can watch a video in different resolutions all the same size on my monitor. but the reason it looks worse for lower resolutions is because the pixels are more zoomed in?

    Hey, my man, thank you so much, and nice explanation. My biggest concern and the reason why I watched your video was because I didn't know what would happen to my resolution if I happened to change my aspect ratio. And I've learned from you that, I would still retain my video size and quality. So again, thank you.

    If I want to play videos on a movie screen but at a resolution where I can play the videos from a computer and run smoothly, I would create the content in 2.39 aspect ratio but save the project in 16:9 resolution. Is what I am saying correct?

    • @MamoAir
      @MamoAir  Před rokem +1

      Hi Josè. Thanks for checking the video. I am not sure I understand what you mean. Also, I think you refer to 2.39x1 aspect ratio? And also 16x9 is aspect ratio, not a resolution

    • @mayomode
      @mayomode Před rokem

      @@MamoAir I know. I mean that if you don't have a powerful computer, it will be difficult to reproduce that resolution. And as an option it could be converted to 1080 so that the video was more fluid.

    great video. My only question is does the number of pixels ever have any correlation with the aspect ratio or can any aspect ratio contain any amount of pixels. Can a 16:9 aspect ratio contain 50 pixels say? (albeit a terrible picture) Or can a 4:3 ratio have 1080p?

    • @MamoAir
      @MamoAir  Před rokem +2

      Hello there. Thanks for the question. The aspect ratio is not linked to the amount of pixels. For example 1920×1080 pixels resolution is a 16:9 aspect ratio. But also 160×90 pixels resolution is a 16:9 aspect ratio.
      Hope this helps. Consider to subscribe for more videos. Ciao

      @@MamoAir thanks for the reply. So pixels can be different sizes? So 160 x 90 pixels can fit on a 50" TV the same as 1920x1080? Have subscribed!

    • @MamoAir
      @MamoAir  Před rokem +1

      @@hawkes3992 no, pixels do not have different sizes (even though they can have a square or rectangular shape too). 1 pixel is 1 pixel, which is the smallest unit of measurements of resolution. The aspect ratio is based on a unit measurements that in the case of 16x9 will fit 16 times on the horizontal axis and 9 in the vertical axis. It is explained in the video :-)
      The size of your monitor or television does not depends on the amount of pixels of the resolution. You can have a 50" television with a Full HD resolution or having a smaller monitor with resolution in 4K.
      Thanks for sub!

    • @hawkes3992
      @hawkes3992 Před rokem +1

      @@MamoAir yes I understand the ratio measurements bit - that's the easy part! But surely if you have two different resolutions on the same sized TV screen. Say you have 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 on a 50" screen? Surely the lower resolution picture would have larger pixels to fill the screen since there's fewer of them? Does that make sense?

    • @MamoAir
      @MamoAir  Před rokem +1

      @@hawkes3992 Yes, that is correct. And the image quality would surely be worse with the lower resolution.

    why is it that with lower resolution the size becomes smaller as well? it shouldn't be that way is it? given they have same aspect ratios?

    • @MamoAir
      @MamoAir  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hi there. The resolution is not proportional to the aspect ratio. You can have 2 different frames with same aspect ratio of 16:9 but different resolution, one of 1920x1080 pixels and one with 160x90 pixels, for example. Hope it makes sense. So one smaller than the other
