I understand the need for ADHD meds but I dislike how now they put kids that show any sign of ADHD on medicine. Teachers are not allowed to tell parents to put their kids on meds and I can't even count how many told my parents to put me on meds which we later found out if I had been put on medicine not only would it have made things worse since I didn't have ADHD but I could've died from seizures due to epilepsy

this actually makes me slightly angry. the parents didn't even fight for him nor accept him.. they took him to so called experts to fix him because they thought he was broken. as someone who went through hell with adhd/add diagnoses amid a traumatic childhood, this hit very hard. the ending esp really made me mad. to get rid of a child because society thinks they're broken is abhorrent. imagine how the child felt, I can tell you, it's not positive emotions.

As a trans and adhd kid, I can definitely relate to this, the amount of meds I’ve been put on just for none of them to work, hating myself for being so “dumb”, getting detentions for being late to class and not having everything I need, feeling like I’m broken and can’t be fixed, and more.
