Is it easy to maneuver in the pool is it heavy? Can you do steps with this unit?

It is easy to maneuver on the pool floor, out and back only, no side to side. You cannot clean steps easily because the unit is wider than normal pool steps.

Nice I couldn't remember from your last video what did you pay for this unit.

Is this easy to carry? I hate having a cart on my truck so use power bags but would love this if it was as portable. I carry my power vac with the pole attached woukd that be easy to do with the riptide?

No, you can't carry it on your pole, the Riptide is a lot heavier than the Power Vac. It is portable, and you can carry it (not on a pole) and I have techs that use it carrying it to each pool when they need to vacuum.

Is it difficult to plug the chord into the battery ? I’m having trouble plugging it in

Yes it kind of is. Just have to press it down into the connectors. Make sure you keep some lube or light layer of grease on the connectors.

      @@truelightpoolsllc4441 what kind of grease?

    • @truelightpoolsllc4441

@@carrtex I just used a very thin layer of light bearing grease or I also use a spray lubricant that has silicon in it.

    How is it still running?

They are running well, have about 7 of them now. Had to switch from the PowerVac to the Riptides due to supply chain issues with parts from PowerVac. The techs seem to like them, they are heavier but have more suction and I like the different micron selection of bags you can get for the Riptide.
