And I mean if we’re being realistic here Nina is a licensed dentist who owns at least two dentistry offices and habitually does huge luxury design-shopping hauls literally once a week. I don’t see why she can’t go to a Pottery Barn or IKEA and do some in-person bedroom shopping with her exuberant finances? Hell, she can even shop online at a Crate and Barrel’s, Hermès (yes, they sell furniture), or even Amazon Prime for the sake of it all. As much as I adore and admire Nina, I can’t deny how incredibly dissatisfying it was to see her try to move a couple of pieces of furniture/wall fittings and expect to drastically change the theme overnight... I mean really, lol!?
I think you should get a new everything on the room since you spend more time at home. Getting rid of the wood vibe and adding more whites and gold would look great in ur room!

put a plant in the corner then get the other matching side table with the lamp then change the mirror to a more modern gold then change out the dresser to a white with like gold handles and then get some new pillows to go with ur room and get a black rug

I think you should take the rug out and get all white/ gold furniture! All the wood doesn’t match your bed but the white side dresser and lamp looks super cute !!! Also get a gold mirror!

The white looks good . It brightens the room up. I’m a white bright minimalistic person. . I love houses that are white bright and airy, I also like cleanliness and minimalism.
I think new white nightstands would look amazing! And more modern brighter colored lamps as well! Keep the rug but put it at an angle! Take down the dark framed pictures and replace them with lighter colored art!😊

I liked how the white nightstand with the lamp looks, you can ask for another to make it look even. At the window you can put a chair or armchair with a small table and have wine or coffee in the morning.

Nina how about getting the white nightstands and lamps to match but the taller version. Or you can get the glass mirrored once for a glam look. Get a white shag rug for under your bed like a 9 by 12. Remove the mirror and get a tall one that’s from RH. (Silver will match your headboard) Lamps should match your headboard so maybe do the lamps in silver. You could do like a coastal theme or you can make it glam and cozy. Love watching you guys❤️

The side table is nice but looks a little small for next to your large bed. If it was a little taller and wider, it would look more proportionate. I think being stuck in the house, we all want change so I don’t blame you!! 😅

I love good rugs and yours is a beauty! The rug might look good in the guest room with the white and gold that is in there now. With the room being smaller, the rug will feel more proportional as well.
Take down mirror and spray paint white. Get rid of side tables and get sconces for minimal look. Also get rid of the side table and get a clear vanity and chair for makeup with small mirror.
Or use large gold mirror as mirror.

@ninagray you need to get rid of all the dark wood as it doesn’t make your room feel big and in fact will actually make your room feel smaller. You need light wood/white.

I think you should move your Persian rug somewhere else like maybe your closet? Maybe add a faux fur rug where you used to have your Persian rug, take out the night stands, and have a wooden cute simple nightstand only (2 maybe?). Add a couple cute plants. Also a cute hanging chair In the corner? Plain white sheets maybe? If you want a Persian touch in your room, you can maybe add like 2 Persian pillows 😍 also a cute simple bench to place in front of your bed

Cute dress Nina! I like your room as it is, the rug has meaning, all the bedside tables match. You could probably have a look online to start getting some ideas of what you like and how you want to change it. You have a lot of white throughout the house so it is nice to have darker bits in your room. Maybe stick to that theme if you want to change things up. xx

YOUR ROOM NEEDS A PLANT. Maybe a color scheme of white, glod, and brown/beige for a new rug would be nice. Definitely get a pinterest board for ideas and do a mini series of changing your room😍

Suggestions: U could move that big dresser out of your room (the one against the bathroom wall...) it’ll make the room more open and yes I agree with you , you should remove that small table (with the candles, and flowers on top) but the rug ....I don’t feel like that adds clutter or anything I would just place it elsewhere so it gives u a “new look” . Like the other side of your bed
