HOW TO MAKE A BACON WRAPPED PORK LOIN
    ______________________________________________________________
    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
    - 3lb Pork loin Roast
    - 1 Package of Bacon
    - Postal Barbecue Original Rub (or your favourite rub)
    STEP #1
To prepare your bacon wrapped pork loin, start off by removing the silverskin using a sharp knife. Next season the pork loin with your favourite Pork rub - I'm using my postal barbecue ORIGINAL rub. Next, wrap the pork loin in bacon. To do this, give the bacon a light pull then wrap the bacon around the pork loin. This will help the bacon cook well and keep it's shape.
    SETP #2
With your bacon wrapped pork loin prepared, get your grill set up for cooking indirect between 250-275F. Place your pork loin roast onto the grill opposite the coals, add in your meat thermometer followed by some apple or hickory wood for smoking. Next close the lid and begin smoking away!
    STEP#3
After around 1.5 hours mix together your glaze and apply it all over the bacon pork loin. Close the lid and let it set for around 5-10 minutes. After it has set a bit apply a second coat of glaze to the bacon then close the lid and let it continue to cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 142-145F.
That's it.. Now take a bit and enjoy!!!

@@PostalBarbecue It's not that I don't like it, it's that "get ready for the taste test" was always followed up by the zoom in and a certain tune. Was exciting. This one doesn't have the impact. Of course, this is only my opinion which means nothing. Not like i'm going to stop watching your videos because you changed the music.

@@PostalBarbecue Have you found that the bacon blocks the smoke from permeating the loin? I have. I stopped wrapping loins because of this. The bacon looks nice, but adds nothing to the loin. Try a side by side comparison. Cut a loin in half, wrap one half and not the other then smoke them.

For anyone who sees this: I have tried bacon wrapped smoked pork loin several times now and I have come to this conclusion. Don't do it. I have taken large loins and cut them in half. One half gets the bacon wrap and the other does not. What I have found is that the bacon actually blocks the smoke from permeating the loin. The unwrapped half was actually juicier and much tastier. Compared side to side the difference was obvious. The wrapped meat was white while the unwrapped half was much darker and infused with smoke. The unwrapped half was bland by comparison.
