    I'm a revert to Islam and before I discovered Islam I believed myself to be bisexual and I thought that it's something I couldn't control and that it was inevitable. But once I discovered Islam I realized how wrong I was and that it was controllable and immoral, and alhamdulillah I eventually lost all inclination and temptation towards it, and I'm now leading a wonderful and happy life alhamdulillah, as opposed to then, which I was depressed and anxious all the time. And I eventually became hooked on drugs and alcohol, and I was always trying to get high whichever what way I was able to. But now I'm alhamdulillah clean because of Islam.

    When an act of two entity can't create a new entity, its an invalid biological act. It indicates the prematurity, impurity, and faulty nature of that biological process. At the genetic level, many irregularities during chemical reactions can happen and nature eventually get rid of such impurities and restores a sound, unique, predictable and replicable process. Love is love. Lust is Lust. Love doesn't necessarily have to end in beds, but lust is genetically designed to end in beds, with one purpose in hand, to produce (or at least try to produce) a new one like them. If two persons lust is already incapable for that purpose (even before going to bed), it's no more biological at all but artificially amplified, most probably.

    People going through same-sex attraction do not have a legitimate outlet for their desires in Islam. They can't marry. How would you advise homosexual people to live a happy life, without a life partner and an emotional support?

    • @oh3074
      @oh3074 Před 24 dny

      Firstly, you can live a happy life without a life partner. Emotional support can be found in parents, siblings, and close friends. They are many heterosexuals who have never gotten married and still lived happily(I can’t say who because I don’t know, but it is very much possible and you know it is possible). Now, you can argue that they had other things that made their life happy like money, but the main point is that people can live happy lives without a life partner.
      Now with that out of the way, if you aren’t a muslim, I can’t help you here. I don’t have any advice for you.
      If you are a Muslim, I have a little advice for controlling the desire and that would be fasting. There is a Hadith: We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) while we were young and had no wealth. So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power." This is from Sahih Al-Bukhari 5066. Now you can take this advice even if you aren’t a Muslim.
      May Allah guide you and me to become better people, and help us avoid sin.

The cause of homosexuality that keeps rising up is %100 the parents and role models. They are the ones who plant the ideas in the children, or lack in the one's life as a healthy figure when one gets affected with these kinds of trends and ideas.

    What he told about why homosexuality occurs is on point! It happened to me, there was a time when I started hating men for their Inability to love and commit to a single woman and I saw the greatness of a woman, that how nurturing, gentle, loving unconditionally, protective and selfless they are and I started having feelings for woman in that period of my life and even imagined physical intimacy with them. But when I read that it's wrong to do so according to Islam and it really made sense, I started to control those feelings. I still can imagine having those feelings for women but I know I'm never going to act on it.

    A lot of us don't know how to respond to this topic so lets look at the Quran.
    "And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought" (30:21)
    God has created us in pairs, men and women, to be spouses of each other. What the homosexuals, the "transgenders" and the "non-binaries" are doing is essentially believing that God got it wrong through their words and actions. As a human with little knowledge, believing that The All-Knowing and Most Wise was wrong is one of the worst sins you can do. It's exactly what Satan did, as he blamed God for his downfall.
    And as always, disobeying God and breaking the balance that He created has major consequences, not just in the Hereafter but in this world too. These ideologies leads to social consequences (broken family structure, friendship, marriage), biological consequences (STDs from perverse sexual practices) and even existential consequences (more homosexuality -> less children -> declining population and economy).
    If people remain stubborn on any false ideology. just leave them. Don't incline to them out of empathy but be grateful to God for guiding you to the truth.

    Masha Allah this is so insightful.
    My friend had this confusion about his gender identity strongly. He grew up with girls in his family. So having this childhood overexposure of opposite gender and underexposure of same gender can also be a influential factor to develop this 'behavioural deviation' .
    Later , when he studied the islamic perspective of this and he happened to live in hostel with boys as part of this academic course , he could overcome this confusion which could have potentially leads to homosexuality . One day he acknowledged that it was a mere confusion, if he couldn't have tackled it , he would have fallen to this pit.

    People and companies and unions and governments think it is neutral to support the rainbow crew…. Meanwhile supporting religious freedom has once again taken a back seat. Keep bringing up your need for religious rights, ask your work to wish employees happy Eid’s, happy Ramadan and happy Islamic history months and hijab days! Don’t let the rainbow crew take up all the space. This is how it starts.
