  • There's a light at the end of the tunnel as the new crew gets together and hit the ground running to undo the shortcomings of the previous crew. Leaks are so annoying but they can get scary when electricity is involved. But overall I'm super happy we're seeing real progress!

that's good Sir you remove nipa, you can use nipa only without ceiling so that it is easy to see the leak and easy to replace.

The water pump still needs a separate water reservoir unless if you have a steady community water supply. Please ask someone before installation of your new machine.

You can make use of the coco lumber when you make your nipa hut or gazebo or dirty kitchen. Allow the grass to expand or crawl. A little patience is needed. The nipa roofing may not be salvageable unless you’ll use them in your chicken house.

I feel bad for you, no one sh have to go through this agony. Some work don’t have integrity just because it’s a small house doesn’t mean the workmanship suffers. I’ve been a follower of Tal for years and he deserves better. I’ve seen many stories like this and the same issues keep coming up. There no standard. Even the larger homes I’ve seen all have the appearance of shoddy and unprofessional workmanship. Tal if you ever see my comments please know that I feel your pain. Maybe you can go the local news and see what kind of help they can bring by telling your story. I can’t bear to see this , don’t go through this alone. I’m hoping when I see your next Vlog your problems will be fixed so you can live worry free.

If you've checked and found they did a sloppy job head over to the local police, tell them you are being victimized by repeated mistakes so that they extend their works fixing up small mistakes like leakages and act that they did not INTENTIONALLY MESSED THE WORK. ANY PERSON HAS BEEN A VICTIM OF THIS UNLAWFUL ACTS OF UNLICENSED CONSTRUCTION THAT SOME ARE INSIDE JOB THEFTS BECAUSE THE OWNERS EXPECT WELL MADE WORK.
IT SHOULD BE A CRIME SINCE ONE DELIBERATE HOLE THAT WILL FLOOD THE CEILING?
THAT WOULD MESS UP THE ELECTRICAL INCLUDING POOL UP WATER INTO THE INSULATION AND CEILING CREATING A WATERFALL INSIDE YOUR NEWLY BUILT HOME.

1.Have you tried applying sealant (vulca seal or silicon) to the roof nails where the leak seems to occur? if not then try it.
2.Might be because the slope of your roof.
This is why it’s important to have a professional like an Architect from the beginning if you want to build something and in this case your dream house because at least you’ll have an idea on how your house would look like as per plans and perspectives or 3D visualization , the proper methodologies in construction to be use base on the site or location of the project, the materials to be use based on your budget and most importantly how much would it cost you or what we call “Bill of Quantities” or “Estimate” of the project. These factors will guide you the client to monitor if you are still on the said budget and you’ll see discrepancies on the plans vs. on the actual because any differences on the two cost you money.
This is just a friendly reminder to all of us to seek help to the professionals and please be kind in the comments section and let’s just support Kuya Tal.
I know we have this stigma about hiring Architects or Engineers about they’re just expensive but in the long run we Architects help you the client to make decisions about your project based on your visions and your budget.
