- Here are 3 of my favorite effects from Mnemonica. 1.) Face to Face 2.) A Grand Triumph 3.) Exact Location.
I did forget to reverse the order of the final packet of the 3rd effect. It’s a small packet of around 15 cards. If you run those cards singly in your hand the entire deck returns to your memorized order 1-52. I hope this encourages some of you to revisit or explore this wonderful book.
Well done 👏🏻 Every serious magician should own all of Juan’s books. 5 Points, The Magic Way, Sonata, Magic Rainbow, and Verbal Magic in addition to Mnemonica. If you combine that with what Dani Daortiz is teaching right now on instant download, you will have armed yourself with much of why Spanish card magicians give Penn & Teller such terror. Their ideas and philosophies are incredible, devastatingly fooling, and incredibly constructed. The ingenuity is next level.
Juan Tamariz is the greatest card magician of all time IMO (though Dani is approaching surpassing his teacher if he hasn’t already). The fact that they’re willing to share their secrets isn’t something anyone serious about art of magic should wait on. Get the material. It’ll pay for itself before you know it if you’re willing to put in the practice.

The triumph one was magnificent! Bought the book a while back but still haven't gotten to learn the stack😂.. still use the Bart Harding stack lol..but def 3 cool effects!🍺👍

Laymen’s view: 5 minutes for a single triumph effect with all the strange card dealings and strange shufflings. Rate it 3/10.
Magician’s view: Fascinating, Intriguing, fun, strong effect, powerful. Rate it 10/10.
Which one you prefer? Obessing with the mnemonica stack, and no matter how small the reactions are you still think it is very strong OR Amaze laymen and enjoy the moment?
@@MsSuper1121 agreed, too much dealing and shuffling. My favorite triumph is the one with the cheek to cheek deck, easy and effective
