All these minutes are actual magic of the highest level: the time when he install his character as goofy and funny lower the the attention on cards, take it on him. The shuffle he made instead of the host, the little trick in the middle which is only helping to focus off the audience and host on what just happened with the deck shuffle, everyone is also focused on direct manipulation and don't consider he will "move things at a distance". Damn, seeing this just makes me learning so much it's crazy. Going after him on this show must have been really hard for the performer

It is funny to see all those magicians being "serious" these days (I love them though) while Juan Tamariz, acting like he's on cocaine doing weird stuff like that fastest card trick in the world, is considered without a doubt one of the greatest (if not the greatest) minds of magic of our era. Amazing Tamariz, love it.

I much prefer to ed marlo style, where its no secret he is incredible skilled with card. For me the real magic is in a guy who doesn't appear to do anything handles the cards so naturally if not clumsily. Yet stuff happens....that's magic

Amazing! Only thing I can imagine here is that he has the deck that is in the case in a pre-arranged order he has memorized. And so when she says 7, he knows that is the ace of spades, and then he forces the ace of spades in his finger-over-cards selection. But what would have happened if she waited a while to say "stop"?? He spread them so wide he couldn't just force the ace of spades from anywhere his finger was, could he have? Maybe he would have found a way to still justify forcing the ace....
What an amazing trick. Him acting like such a lunatic really sells it too

locke2517 that’s not a faro or anti faro. There are multiple cards clumped on each side. The key to this is that the top is preserved. Look closely, the first 10-15 cards are not shuffled. From there he just needs to get the girl to pick a low number.

      @trongvu1018 Před rokem +10

@@LorenzoGodioit's a timing force and he hovered his hand very high so he can adjust it slightly.
      So
1, he knew the seventh card is the ace of spade(very popular so if chosen she wouldnt change her mind)
2, he saw the ace of spade is near the end so he cut it towards the middle
3, he timed it perfectly so she would say stop(like seeing her lips parting preparing to say sssssss)
4, the most important part(this is pure genius)
at first he(tamariz) did an anti faro and spreaded it so he(second spectator) would push them together without changing the order, he(tamariz) never touched the deck for the entire time, performed 1-3 and the miracle happen
it satisfied 3/4 of "the berglas effect" conditions
1, A shuffled deck is on the table in full view ✅(at least it seemed so)
      2, A number 1-52 is freely named ✅
      3, a card is freely selected/named ❌
4, The performer never touched the deck ✅
TL;DR : Tamariz is the GOAT and performed ACAAN with a stacked deck, let the spectator shuffled it without changing the order, forced the second spectator a card after knowing a freely chosen number and the card is in that number in a deck never touched

This is the problem with many kids getting into magic today. They think it’s all moves and fooling the eye. Juan’s opener was pure genius for several reasons here’s a couple: 1. It broke the ice with the audience letting them know it’s about having fun (also served to relax their senses). 2. It was more entertaining on it’s own than most “fooler” tricks. Also notice how the intensity of tricks started low and built up to miracle level at the end. It’s less about staring at your hands in the mirror and more about creating an experience.
