  • There's a lot of big-name video content out there on guns used in the Russo-Ukrainian war, but none of them have actually nutted up and visited the war zone. Today, we're diving into the Zbroyar UAR-10 Sniper Rifle. This piece of precision engineering hails from Ukraine, crafted by Zbroyar, a company more known for its high-precision sports and hunting rifles. The UAR-10, chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, is based on the iconic AR-10 design. But the question on everyone's mind has been: how does an AR-10 variant produced outside of America stack up? Is it as good as its reputation suggests? Join us as we seek answers RECOIL style -- by field testing the UAR-10and getting feedback from Ukrainian snipers.
    What's Inside This Video:
    - A straightforward yet intriguing introduction to the Zbroyar UAR-10 Sniper Rifle, teasing its potential amidst growing curiosity.
    - Real-world testing in Ukraine, putting the UAR-10 through its paces to reveal its true capabilities.
    - My personal take on how the UAR-10 measures up, especially considering its unique origins and design principles.
    - Feedback from Ukrainian soldiers providing firsthand insights into the rifle's field performance.
    - A peek into the craftsmanship behind the UAR-10, hinting at the depth of quality Zbroyar brings to the table, with a promise of more discoveries to come.

@@y0h0p38 Sounds of certain vowels and consonants maybe difficult. I usually try to find examples in english words to teach sounds in Ukrainian. For example кулемет=machine-gun, to say it use two words "cool-e-met" . If you find a good teacher who will break it down its doable i think. If you do it classic way learning alphabet grammar and so on its maybe too difficult . Again dont overthink it just communicate using basics at first , people will understand regardless.

Ukraine lacks money. Russia exports everything the same way as before the war or even better. And the West is acting like nothing wrong with this. Ukrainian economy is ruined and Russia destroyed every logistics channel it could. And even more, Poland is blocking the border, making Ukraine weaker. And that's not all, Russia destroyed the huge part of Ukrainians energy generation sector this March. The whole Western World is not capable to provide air defense system to protect Ukrainian critical infrastructure. 2-3 Patriots with 5-10 less capable European systems, that's all that 50% of world's economy can afford to protect it's "Ukrainian investment", "eastern NATO flank", and "the biggest European country". Sometimes you think that Russia is more lucky with its allies.

Metallurgy, heat treat and finishing play a big role beside just getting the dimensions right. A lot of countries just don't have the same ordinance steels to work with. That's not an insurmountable roadblock but it can require a lot of R&D to modify a design to work with parts you can make instead of just making dimensionally correct parts.
So it's a little more complex than just getting dimensions right.

Got to say, we live in globalization times and nothing is wrong with that- companies sell their products all over the world and get huge profits, if you want to copy and produce( legally)- buy the patent, obviously, someone will not to, but it stimulate the competition and makes products to get better and more competitive ( price/quality)- literally you can't live inside your " backyard " only.

Nearly everything we gave Ukraine is old tech. I won't argue on how much money we should spend on them or what not, but equipment wise we are mostly just getting rid of old stuff sitting around, or still used but at the end of its lifespan. We have learned a lot of good information by putting our old stocks in Ukraine, and we are seeing possible changes in our own military because of what we have learned against a peer advisory. Not to mention because most stuff belongs to corporations, US made equipment is every country in the world. Even military equipment/tech has been sold to Russia and other country's that the US as a country would never sell this tech to.

Enough gear to keep the cave dwellers happy for many years. In this war the good tech captured is immediately reverse engineered by the Russians.

They use other countries guns because they lack the amount of guns needed. Back in World War 1 Russia used a lot of foreign guns because they couldn’t produce enough guns locally fast enough to supply all their newly conscripted soldiers. Also it’s not a Civil War when a Sovereign country invades another Sovereign country that’s called an invasion.
