- Sniping in Hell Let Loose is Incredible, only 2 people per team are allowed it. I attempted a counter-offensive with my team after the US had taken the beach and pushed in land. SO much fun! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

I tried it and its SO complicated to get started, the first few weeks i barely had any idea what was going on or where i was supposed to go, mainly getting killed without any1 in sight

Hey Jack just a quick note with Recon and artillery. If your team is getting heavily shelled, it's actually a common tactic to take your Recon Officer and set a outpost up near the enemy arty. You are the only unit that can set up an OP outside of the two block radius of the front line. So if your team is getting shelled, go help them out and snipe their arty guys for a bit.

Honestly doing that tactic makes being a sniper A LOT less fun after awhile imo. I know your team pretty much expects the snipers to do that and they get mad sometimes if you don't.

The maps on this game seem so immersive - the way your side makes progress looks so sensible compare with most objective-based team games.
It's incredible! I felt like in a movie set for WW2, the first time I played it! Extremely immersive compared to BF5.

Hell Let Loose is one of the most underrated games out there - it's an absolutely phenomenal FPS with fantastic immersion, great gunplay, TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION, varied and rewarding gameplay and a really helpful and friendly community. I'm level 113 and am still learning new stuff, which keeps it engaging and exciting. Would love to see you dip your toes in a little deeper Jack! It's a helluva game!
Shame it has awful controls on console.
For ps5 they could have had Gyro aiming which would make the game play almost like the Pc version

The controls are almost exactly the same as any other FPS...sure, the tracking and movement isn't necessarily as quick or smooth, but I think that's intentional/by design because the game is a lot slower paced/more realistic than many other shooters.
If only jackfrags did the teamwork and communication part

Just for any new players. This isn't COD or Battlefield and having a mic and communicating with your team is a must in this game. Especially if you are a squad leader.

@@lights_utopia1130 no it's usually £35 on steam but as of current it's a 1/3 off so it's just under £24 (around $30 if you're american).
I'd highly recommend it however it takes a bit of time to learn and you will have to look up guides beforehand as there is no tutorial.
Hell let loose is a fantastic game that just keeps getting better. More HLL videos please, even better with Tommy!

I tried the game yesterday as it was free to play for the weekend... Well, after 4 hours of trying to learn the game mechanics, I finally said F it, and got it... And you contributed a lot to this, since I had a lot of fun watching your videos about HLL.
I love HLL. Awesome to see it getting some more attention. Its always great to have new players and that happens a lot when large creators, like yourself, play something other than COD! You should do another sniping video on a night map! Its a blast
It's been a free weekend so seen lots of new players hip firing MG42's all over the show :) Great to see you play HLL again. This is the new German offensive mode on Omaha Beach which is a nice way to keep a map that's been around a while fresh.
Yeah we lost 6 games in a row in the weekend and it was utter chaos. Then someone mentioned free weekend and I checked and team was full of level 1's 😂 hopefully it got a bunch of new people into the game though

This game is up there with L4D in approachable but integral team play mechanics. Close games are incredibly memorable and you just don't get that feeling in games that don't have the team play aspects. You have the feeling of your whole team pulling together to get the win. Very rare thing in gaming and I hope more and more people get i this game because it is fantastic.

@@KidConiferous just as a warning console players are generally behind of pc players in terms of updates. For example the Eastern front consoles got it 5 months after pc did. For the recent update 12 the console update is going to launch 'some time this year' so if you do get it expect the update to arrive anywhere from late September to late December.
They need to optimise it a bit more to gain more player base.

The game is fantastic and each match generally lasts a long time.
It takes a while to get the hang of it but it’s the best first person shooter I’ve played for the last year. Get a mic, ask questions and say you’re new, and remember that defense wins games.

I always like watching Hell Let Loose, it's the game I play the most currently. If you haven't tried tanking recently, I can recommend grabbing two players and trying it out. Can be as satisfying as sniping in my opinion.

Yay! HHL! My constant pestering has worked! My favorite FPS nowadays. You should do a vid teaching new players the basics. That's the biggest issue with this game - no tutorial, just a glossary that no one looks at. New players tend to try to play it like Battlefield, and hang around at locked points, not helping at all.

I have to snipe vicariously through Jack because I've managed to snag the sniper maybe twice in 300 hours of playing HLL.
the trick is popular low player-count servers. like find a semi-popular server that's lower populated, get in, grab recon, and just wait for players to join. if you have the time you usually get a match or two of playing just fine

Looks so much easier with Pc like the aim and stuff. Was playing it this weekend on gold pass. Pretty good game but it sucks a bit when you haven't got players communicating on your team. Team work and talking are essential in this game.
Once again thank you for being a true video game content creator. Everyone else just posts warzone videos and it has become extremely stale.
I'll probably never go back to CoD or BF. Only played when it seemed more realistic. But now both are methhead rungun nonsense. Hardcore Squad based objective based HLL is the future

good sniping. *internally screams* gotta get yourself a spotter (they have binos that make detailed pings and also have a anti personal mine to help cover your back while you're in a nest). also try flanking the full map toward the artillery and just keep them pinned down (for the team! typically only class allowed to camp main spawn) especially if you're gonna lock recon to solo xP

I really enjoy playing this game. I don't talk on the mic its not my thing really but I listen to the comms and try and help the team best I can. Any other tips for a new player mate? I think this is the best fps out there it's fantastic
@@scottharris1552 don't get tunnel vision. Threats can come from all directions. Particularly if there is a big fight taking place. Flank, use cover. Use all tools provided in your kit. Seems redundant to say but many players don't. Trip mines, outposts, binos, smoke etc. You don't have to be chatty but quick, clear coms can help a lot. Best of luck.

Playing this map as the germans makes you really understand why Rommel wanted to have panzer armies ready for the immediate counter offence at the beach.
I put about 40 hours into this game, so I am by no means an expert, but I found this game mode (where only one side attacks and the other defends the whole time) to be much worse than the one where both sides attack and defend. It sucks being defense, it feels like you're constantly losing. I only played three or four of this mode, but the attackers won every single one.
I somewhat agree. I have 800 hours. I prefer the Warfare mode to Offensive. It is very satisfying to successfully defend an attack however.

Looks like you got a good game there Jack. When I usually play I get into lobbies where no one knows what they are doing and we get rolled on instantly. Its annoying! Great video though, keep up the good work :)
