this video will show you how to locate and replace the cabin air filter if you have a 2002 or older yukon , if its newer you can still add a filter but you're going to have to cut the plastic yourself and then add the filter ,

My daughter’s 2004 suburban also has no filter. I was racking my brain trying to find it and yours proved there isn’t any where others says there are. But like yours Felix there’s no access panel for hers it’s a mid 2004

this video helped me because I have an 03 and AutoZone told me I have a cabin air filter with an access in my car and take it all apart there's no access so I'm going to do like you said I'm going to cut it with a razor try and maybe seal it reseal it with some silver tape but I don't have the cover piece so it's going to look like shit so AutoZone is full of shit too thank you

Dorman makes a kit that allows you to but that part out and replace it with an included.. no ducktape needed

He says IF yours is one of the older models, you just pop the tab on the side, the plastic cover comes off, and you slide the old filter out then put the new one in and replace the cover.
