The tv show, "Charmed" went on to do 8 seasons. Shannon Doherty left after 3 seasons and was replaced by Rose McGowan. Having Doherty leave didn't affect the show. I liked the show with or without Doherty. It was a good show. 🧛♀🧛🧛♀

Actually, the reason why Doherty was fired was because Milano threatened to sue the show on basis of toxic environment. Spelling &Co. obviously didn't want that and knew it would kill the show. So they gave into to her demand of firing of the much higher paid lead actress, Shannon. Alyssa wanted that money and lead status. Holly Marie Combs was going to leave the show but was told if she did, they would ruin her career. She was like so, what if I work at Walmart? We'll ruin that too. You will not be able to find work. Shannon and Holly were friends prior to the series. Shannon got the gig because Holly told her about the auditions and they both went. They didn't hire Holly for being an unknown. Shannon convinced them to hire her. You notice these days how Alyssa is her own panel whilst the others are another?
Yeah, everybody pretty much agrees Alyssa was the problem. It is funny how you have the three others together at cons and then her by herself.
Shannen Doherty, I don't know what went on with 90210, but Kevin Smith said she was cool to work with, and he has no problem blasting someone.
I wouldn't say Holly was an unknown, as she'd been a star on the show Picket Fences, which I enjoyed before Charmed came out, but it wasn't as big of a show as Beverly Hills 90210 or Who's the Boss. I hated when Doherty left and that she was blamed for it at the time. The truth comes out eventually, though.
I loved that show, I really don't care if they got along or not, maybe it's just time for them to forget the past.
Howard Stern's first wife was Alison who he had 3 daughters with. I think Bill was saying how much Howard was always gushing about the second wife everywhere and how she is the love of his life probably made his 1st wife who was with him from the beginning of his career before he was successful feel bad.
Bill Maher was criticizing Howard Stern for gushing over Howard's own wife. He was gushing over his second wife, and Maher thought that was unfair to Howard's ex-wife. Strange.
Maher has always been strange.

Hi Kabir, I agree with you about Glee. I tried to watch it, but changed channels halfway through. Later, on several occasions when I was at someone's house and they were watching it, I was forced to endure it. It's just a bunch of bad lip-syncing to other people's music. I would never, if I was in the music industry, permit any of my material to be used on Glee.
It didn't do anything for me either.
If you haven't seen Community, watch it! It's amazing! Chevy Chase is also a well known pain in the ass.
I never understood the appeal of Glee either.

Doherty who is dying from cancer speaks freely over the crap Milano put her through. She says she’s dying and she has nothing to lose by lying about anything.
Kabir, you misunderstood what happened with Howard Stern. Howard was gushing about his own wife, not anyone else’s. Bill said it was unfair to Howard’s first wife, who he had his children with, to say his second wife was the love of his life. It wasn’t Bill’s business at all and he needed to keep his nose on his own face.
Like, what kind of idiot do you have to be to call someone out for calling their current spouse the love of their life?
I heard Chevy Chase is a nightmare to work with from many interviews. Im just going to assume most celebrities are a nightmare until proven wrong
Shannon Daugherty was known to be difficult. She had problems with her 90210 cast members as well. Alyssa Milano stated that Shannon's claims were false, because she didn't have the power to get anyone fired.
I'm old enough to have watched that whole Letterman/Leno fiasco unfold and it really wasn't as simple as Letterman being jealous that he didn't get "The Tonight Show." Carson spent years grooming Letterman to take over when he eventually retired. Letterman was even his go-to guest host when Carson took vacations. Leno was virtually unknown until Letterman started having him on as a stand-up and, when Letterman couldn't cover Carson's vacations, he recommended Leno to NBC. Fast forward a few years and they gave "The Tonight Show" to Leno. It was a very public diss of Letterman. I like both of them (Leno more for his gearhead stuff) so I didn't mind either way.
They did the same exact things when Leno retired as well. It had been promised to Conan O'Brien for years and they snaked him at the last second.
I guess a lot would depend on how bad the situation on the set is. The bours actors can put in on the set when a show is filming can be exhausting, and if you’re working with someone who is constantly making it harder than it has to be, sometimes someone has to go or the show won’t continue anyway. Some of these actors have a reputation for being “difficult” that extends to other productions they’ve been in, so you can’t always blame the dismissals on a particular cast mate they didn’t get on with.
Shannon Doherty was famous for not getting along with co-stars. The problems might be trivial, but I had the impression that she was over-dramatic and mentally taxing to anyone around her. If so, then I don't blame Alyssa for deciding she can't work with her anymore. Same for Shia LaBeouf. He seems to have such an abusive personality.
And I think Bill Mahr was upset that Howard Stern was showing affection to Stern's own wife, not someone else's. Mahr seems to think it's bad for Stern to show public affection for her because he was married before, and that is somehow disrespectful to his first wife. I agree with Stern that that's a convoluted conclusion and frankly isn't any of Mahr's business.
While I think it's possibly true that all the talk about Kanye's nonsense boosted Taylor's recognition at the time, people would not have kept listening to her if she wasn't amazing. She would still be where she is today if that had never happened.
Interesting that Alyssa is the odd one out in the bunch, then, since Shannen, Holly, and Rose do appearances together and nobody does them with her.
@@mage1439I'd heard that about Shannon too. Even after 90210 supposedly she considered prickly. I think Holly was already friends with Shannon, that's where her loyalty lies. Rose, I'm not sure, maybe she isn't a fan of Alyssa's friends.
Letterman was Johnny Carson's pick for his successor as well but NBC ignored him. Letterman and Leno were actually friends most of the time, it was a friendly rivalry. It only turned ugly when Jay screwed over Conan. Conan used to work for Dave so they are close.

I've heard Shannon Doherty was a nightmare to work with on 90210 also. I think she's the problem.
The main difference between Alec Baldwin and Shia and other actors is that they never shot anyone dead with a “unloaded” gun.
She didn’t need Kanye to get to where she is now. Her talent got her to where she is and I’m saying this as someone who isn’t a huge fan of her but it’s not because of her talents. 50 cent is a prick I learned that first hand. But hey not a crazy psycho like Kanye lol😂

To be fair Howard Stern is so 20 years ago and needs to retire. Bill Maher keeps up to date better.
