Thank you this gives me hope ! I was diagnosed with emphysema 2 weeks ago (I’m 37). I have two small children 1 1/2 year old and 3 year old and I’ve had issues with my breathing for 7 months before I got my diagnosis. I felt my life was over. Some days I still feel like this. Finding your channel has given me some light. God bless you... love from the UK
It's great to see you up and moving. You're a wonderful blessing to all of us who are going through the battle of fighting COPD. I'm in last stage COPD emphysema, asthma and Heart Failure and trying to get a transplant. We'll see how it goes for me. But I'm so happy for you and so happy you have another chance a life. Stay safe and healthy.🌹🙏
So finished listening to all your videos. I need to go through them all and give a thumbs up so the algorithm works for you. I’ll be sharing this site with my support groups. Do you know if you have alpha-1? Your young and your lung condition sure seemed to decline rapidly!!! I found that very interesting as we do compare. We are frightened.
Hi Amy! Thanks for watching! I was tested for Alpha-1 in the very beginning and was told no, but at my Transplant Clinic I was told there are a few different ways to test for Alpha-1 and I was retested and told I was. I still am not sure to this day, but all is well with my new lungs so I have not questioned it further.
I love hearing from you. Your face looks so exuberant. The happiness is overflowing. Enjoy every second of every day. God has truly blessef you and with good reason. Have a safe week. Your store looks pretty from what I can see. Wishing you the best of every thing. Can't wait until you appear again. It's so uplifting. Would you throw a kiss to my son in heaven. Tell him I love him. He would be 53. Thank you Hugs & Kisses.
Sharon thank you for thinking of me! I am doing great! Just trying to get a routine going so that I am recording videos regularly again, but I've been so busy that I haven't figured out that routine yet. I will get it eventually though 😊
Thank you for this update...I was so worried about you. So happy that you are well and things are getting better for you. I must say you look different...have you gained some weight?
Mine was at 28% when I was first diagnosed, the dropped to 17% slowly over the next five or six years … then the last year before my transplant it went from 17% down to 11% very quickly.
Amazing lady well Done xx
U look so great Barb! The best to u and stay safe.
