    I have a 88 Pathfinder 170k miles with the grandpa VG30i. It was not cared for before I got it. I bought it in an emergency I work in the forest on top of a mountain and my 97 suburban broke its np249 with a week to get another. When I got it back together I sold it and kept the pathfinder. It just works hard.

    Great video Billy. I am an Aussie doing a VG build right now and bits are hard to get. I have been fortunate enough to get hold of a Polar Engineering top feed fuel rail. No need for mains caps on mine but another US developer who's known well here in Australia is Engineered Performance Racing from Texas. As far as after market stuff goes you guys over there are so lucky.

      800 would pretty much be the same results as 650. Guys are making 800+ through a completely stock motor. Although not necessarily recommended to do so. 😅 The playing field may level out once you get closer to 1,000whp+ in my opinion.

    Dude i cannot agree more. Now if you have an NA 300zx i can understand why people would swap it with an LS, 2jz, or even an RB26. But its pretty stupid swapping out the VG30DETT because thats what makes it the "300ZX Twin Turbo".

    • @Billy_Built
      @Billy_Built  Před rokem +1

      Even with the NA motor. You can make just as much power with one. Very close to it anyway. Swap parts alone will put you in the hole farther than boosting a NA z32.
