"Here to clear it up for the overthinkers". A man speaking my language.
I have a tendency to 2nd guess myself😅
I have a 94 NA I bought in 98. For years it wouldn’t run right until it came up to temp. A friend kept telling me it was a vacuum leak, I wouldn’t listen. I replaced everything. Every sensor, every valve. I finally made an adapter to fit the intake out of PVC pipe with an inlet for compressed air. I found the leak in about 2 minutes. One of the hard pipes in the intake was compressed on the underside. So, it didn’t matter how hard you tightened the clamps, there was still a gap air could get in. I banged out the dent until it was circular again and it ran like new. I’ve never been more happy and so mad at the same time. Of course, I told my friend. He just shook his head.
Gotta love the spaghetti intake system😂
After counting all the clamps, I fully understood why one ALWAYS says to boost leak test😅 a tad ridiculous
Love the channel brother!
really great video man keep it up
🙏
Well done, clean ,well documented and food edit. Keep at it. Nice Z
Thank you!🙏
Great video, keep up on the good content 👍
Thank you🔥
Great video, the attention to detail is outstanding!! Can't wait to see it in the 95.
Can't wait to see the DN1 on the road🔥
Great video, you include very critical but minor details regarding NA to TT conversion. Great job 👍🏻
Thank you!
Figured I've been doing the swap enough years to pass on the knowledge💪
This video started randomly playing and I swear I thought it was the Trex from The good dinosaur movie lol
I watched the whole video, good stuff, you got a subscriber 👍🏽
😂😆
Welcome to the channel🔥
dang, i learned something new, i had no idea that the j30, upper passenger timing cover was free from the standoffs for the ignitor, i need to source those now! W's
soooo, those are discontinued. sadly... if you find them. stock them! would be amazing z32 mod for everyone doing ptu delete and relocate!
I've found 2 so far that I've been waiting for a good build to use them on😎
dude i love your videos sooo much also did you say you would sell that 1993 240?? also could i buy a set of 300zx tail lights
I'm not up to selling it until I have enough of the swap haha.
Unfortunately someone just came and grabbed my last 3 sets 2 weekends ago. I can keep you in mind for the next set!
please dont forget, that behind the oil filter tree, is check valves on a non turbo block, those have to be removed and replaced with the TT blank plugs. that way enough pressure can be created to feed the oil cooler and turbos, without bleeding past those non turbo check valves which takes oil and bypasses your oil filter. all kinds of no bueno when using those non turbo check valves behind the oil filter tree on a twin turbo build.
heck yes! just saw in video about these. excellent =]
I learned this one on my first build🤣 I didn't delete them and learned I was bypassing my oilfilter for 2k miles LOL
I did like you said, spent a couple years buying all the parts to tt my 3000gt but ended up putting a supercharger on it instead 😆
Gotta love when that happens😂
The building never ends!
Hey where did you get the black lower lip on the red 300? My car is missing that lower lip and I can’t find one anywhere that looks correct.
I know we spoke, for anyone else wondering-
Stillen type 3 lip, they also have NA chin repair lips and other style lips for NA and TT
Hi, by chance have you thought to pave where you have your cars?
That would be nice!
I may check to see what it costs. I atleast need another load of gravel😆
You can buy an engine that had an auto trans and still hook it to a manual??
Yes sir!
Next video(tomorrow) will cover what to purchase/use to remove the auto bushing and install a manual for the input shaft of the transmission.
where does one source the tt oil filter tree? they seem very illusive online lol

Id grab this and buy a 1/8 npt port to use an a feed for the oil cooler for an alternative.
Can someone clarify for me please. The only reason to swap the oil filter tree is for the oil cooler? Correct?
If i keep the na tree can i just use an aftermarket oil cooler adapter and have no problems?
You can use a sandwich plate and use one of the ports for an oil feed on an NA tree.
But yes its for the oil cooler.
@@NedacSnosrap so i can leave the na tree and remove the plug to the left of it, like in the video, for the oil feed?
@@Alex-cl6nf if you're keeping the NA tree, there is no reason to pull the check valves.
Yes you will still use the plug by the tree for oil feed for turbos.
If running the oil cooler, you'll need an adapter port on your sandwich plate to use as a feed for the oil cooler.
@@NedacSnosrap Thanks man i appreciate it. Love the channel it’s helped out a whole lot 👍
If I use e85, do I have to tune the ecu?
Yes.
The cheapest way is to have your ecu socketed for a chip, or to buy one that is already socketed.
I get my chip tunes from zshack
Only if I was closer to you..
I wish I had more people close by!
@18:36, no lie. those locking plates are worth more then their weight in gold. lmfao. they sell Copper self locking nuts you should invest in. somewhat similar in price to the locking plates, but its one less step, and one less purchase, as you buy the nuts, instead of new nuts and new locking plates.
I'll have to check those out thank you for real!
Just went to buy a set the last time I ordered parts and said whew, I'm pretty sure I have some somewhere😅
About how all the oem z32 parts are getting now :(
infinity j30's were never "sports cars, so they werent used and abused to the ragged edge while being neglected. they were drivin by soccer moms who regularly maintained there cars. so j30 motors are the bee's knee's for swaps
Makes sense!
I just always think of the vg as the normal mechanics kryptonite😆 hence the general condition of all of them i wrench on
@PrizzaMike parts plug
We had a collab last year!
Have a haul of stuff ready to take up to him when he is ready😎
