- Spring is finally in the air! So it’s time to do a little makeover on my patio and get it ready for the sunny months!
I really want to make this feel like an outdoor extension of my apartment. A place that’s really welcoming and cozy. So I spent some time shopping and looking for inspiration around LA.
I DIY’d some new planters and got a LOT of new plants - including an OLIVE TREE! (Which I’ve wanted for some time now!)
This patio makeover was really a labor of love…

It reminds me of the “ambient rooms” I choose from everyday on CZcams that I wish were real! I love the dog statue ;)

Looks very "resort" like. I love the back lighting off the plants for evening. The pouf is great for function and tying in the jute rug.

Thanks for the inspiration for the old lantern. I have two old lanterns that I’m not using at the moment and putting plants in them was genius.

Looks amazing at night! I love the idea of the layered rugs- it adds extra texture and somehow makes the space look larger. Also love the doggo- the absolute best accessory! ❤️🦮🐾

What surprises me is that you want everything tidy, but you leave the green paint under your extractor hood on the tiles
I must say the idea of renovating the extractor hood like this👍🙂
Haha all of the peel and stick tile is being replaced in the next step of the makeover. But good eyes! 🙈

The patio looks great! Congrats. That's a lot of plants- do you have an outside spigot there for watering? Please keep us updated on how the plants are doing. I've liked and subscribed, I enjoy your content.
No unfortunately, just have to fill my watering can in the kitchen and come out. It’s not too bad.
