You might try wrapping a string around the grass half way up. Then cut it close to the ground. It will be easy to remove and done in minutes.

I have the Ryobi cordless trimmer and I replaced the string cutter with the plastic blade cutter and it works so much better in my opinion. Enjoying your channel.

I am refreshing my flowerbeds. We are approaching 10 years in our house so I made the investment and bought flowers, dirt, coconut coir planters for hanging baskets and shepherds crooks. And to save money I’m getting mulch from the landfill.

with dandelions, Always pick the flowers when they are yeloow, pick them all and make a bouquet! Then go out and dig up the plant with the weeding tool. Waiting until the white fluffy seeds are open isnt good. The seeds fall and sprout up in a new spot. Always pick dandelion flowers when they are yellow. Pick them All.

Please always put cardboard under mulch. Weeds will struggle to break through much longer. ... in my zone they do not make it up the entire season😊

Have you ever tried a Pre-Emergent before the weeds show their ugly heads in early spring? Using one may eliminate your need to spray each weed.

Hello there, I have pre-emergent but I didn’t apply it this year. I did last year and I don’t think I timed it right since the weather goes up and down so much and I don’t measure the temp of my soil. Next year I plan on doing a better job. Yes. I had ornamental grass in my front yard. Loved when it was green and would sway with the wind…once it dried it would blow all winter long into the neighbors yard….and I was chasing to keep it out of the neighbors front yards. Decided to do away with it, it just ran the coarse with me. 🙏🪴🙏 KCMary. I could have cut it short in early fall,but I was just over it. And I alway loved ornamental grass…,

Had a small paver border built in front of the front bay window and put boxwood plants there…,also took out knock out rose bushes and liropia plants….,decided to keep the front real simple, streamlined, and minimal ….what I thought would work. Just seemed to get too busy looking, for the small front yard space…. Had thought the more variety of plants the better…always learning….. .
