- Persona 5 Tactica was one of the games that I was looking forward to playing near the end of November. I was excited to hop back in to the Metaverse and hang out with the Phantom Thieves again. Only to find out that P5T is unfortunately lacking in a lot of aspects that ultimately soured the experience for me.

"nobody wanted" is a big statement. *I* wanted this. As a fan of tactical games and a massive Persona fan, I was SO hyped for this and am currently on my 3rd playthrough. It is everything I wanted from an offcom/persona hybrid and I would love to see more from other Persona titles in the future.
I'm glad that this is the top comment on a Persona hate video. Hope OP is stewing in his seethe.
As a big TRPG guy and a Persona fan, this game sucks massive overpriced balls and it shouldn't have had to exist. Let Atlus move on from P5.

@@NaroniPichu by the time I finished it and the dlc i was just glad to be done with it so i can move on to my backlog. Well, except for the fact that persona 3 reload comes out in like 3 days
So as someone who isn't a "Persona" fan but does like SRPGs a fair amount...it's been interesting seeing the general impressions people have for this game. Not really positive but not quite that negative either, very much mixed-to-middling. Must be a combination of it being in a genre most people don't care for and franchise fatigue I guess.
All I can really say at this point is that, dang, I wish some of those other SRPGs I enjoyed had even a fraction of the budget this game potentially had.

I am on top of the second kingdoms final boss and I'm playing on merciless difficulty and the only time I've really lost is because of a miss input the story so far is really good
gameplay was too easy and no Reaper bossfight
But I liked the story tbh
I completely forgot that it had no reaper 💀
P5s was so good. I loved that game. It's literally the best of that entire genre.
I heard from a friend that this game devolves into using all-out attacks on the entire map. This coupled with gimmicky and easy boss fights means this game is super baby mode.
I was super excited for this release and now it feels like it just isn't worth my time even after purchasing.

I think Persona has somewhat lost its run, now this is a cash grab.
