Soooo cool. Sooooo happy for you!!! Congratulations! You carry with you so many of our dreams. I hope you appreciate that. I bet you do. Thank you for sharing.
Pretty impressive going under the bridge, hope the knee and grandchild are doing well and Alcatraz looks just like it did in the film, another place I would like to visit.
Hola amigos! I met you two on a shuttle from San Jose Del Cabo to La Paz several years ago. You told me about your channel and I've been watching. You may recall I keep my Ericson 35 "Sail a Vie" sail boat in La Paz although right now she is in Puerto Penasco at the top of the Sea of Cortez for hurricane season. Funny that you ended up in my old home Port of Redwood City. I kept Sail a Vie there for the first 28 years. I'm in the Bay aArea for the summer and then I'll be sailing back to La Paz in October. I hope we run into each other one of these days. In the mean time no wind and flat seas to you!
Good to hear from you. In real time SeaVentures in Ensenada where we arrived about a week ago. Sea Venture Will be here until the first part of December when will head on south to the Sea of Cortez for the cruising season. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to connect up on the water. Jim
Congratulations, nothing like pulling into a great harbour for the first time ,very exciting. A new knee and a grand child ,both products of our mature age. Enjoy them both. Best wishes Brian and Sandra MV Sealeaf
Always a thrill to come in under the Golden Gate Bridge. I've been out in the Potato Patch during a wind-against-tide situation and it was not fun. Good planning to time your entry when you did.
Wow how fantastic. I bet that big old bridge maybe bought a tear to your eye? Love watching your content. Very cool, pleased your knee is working again and the new baby will keep you busy I am sure. Safe travels. Thanks for posting vids.
Martin, Thanks. We are a little slow on the editing and getting the videos posted. We are working on getting current! In real time we are in Ensenada, Mexico, where we are waiting out hurricane season. We will continue our journey south in December. Thanks, Jim
Congrats on the addition to the family and glad you got your knee fixed up. I was just wondering, do you ever run on one engine to conserve fuel? Love your boat!
Jim answered this in a Tech talk many episodes or more. Short answer, no. They already do really well on fuel, , the rudders off to one side and the boat slightly crabbing due to asymetrical thrust causes drag and the autopilot would have to work harder.
Good question on Starlink. I think a lot of boaters are going that direction. We need to do some more research and figure out if it's a good fit for us. Yes, we saw lots of planes landing. Thanks for watching, Jim
Congratulations on the grandson! And the knee.
A major bucket list item. So happy for you guys to get some amazing video of the bridge. Congratulations on the new family member 🎉

👍🏻👏 congrats on your grandson
Thank you!!
You're in my backyard now!
Had two knees installed 7 yrs ago, (7 was apart) best thing I ever did.
Love your videos
Great work guys. Congrats.
Hi Jim and Rosy..
Great video going into San Francisco.
Love your videos!

Thank you! We had a great cruise to Ensenada. Thanks for all your help and advice. The folks at Marina Coral have been great. Jim
I've made this trip dozens of times, but never with any ability to video it. Thank you!
What made you go south to RW City? Most folks head to Richardson Bay or Alameda when they first enter SF Bay?
Redwood City was a newer marina that had space for us. We need a 60' slip and most of the marinas up in the city had only smaller slips. Thanks, Jim
At some point, the kittys might figure out that the floor, on the aft deck will be the smoothest ride. 😂😂😂 they're totally silly. Love em!!😊
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Congratulations on Little Benjamin and your new left knee!
Another fun video, hope you guys are doing well, have not seen a new video in a few months. Take care and thanks
Nothing like sailing under the Golden Gate! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome video and welcome to SF Bay. Are you heading back north with a stop in Humboldt Bay?
We are continuing south and are currently in Ensenada, Mexico. Thanks, Jim
Thanks for sharing this exciting moment! Congrats on your successful passage!
Wow this is an old video..I go under the golden gate all the time...I know the new construction in the city and landmarks that are not in this video
Hi, We were slow getting the editing done, but this trip under the bridge was the first week of September 2021. Thanks for watching, Jim
Congrats guys, it has been quite a journey. Great job on the story.
Congrats! Hope all is well with the two new additions to the family. ;)
They are!
Try Tiburon next time
Thanks for the tip. Everyone we called right in the Bay had no availability for a 60' slip. But you never know next time! Thanks, Jim
Are you stopping in Morro Bay? We’d love to host you.

Will you get Starlink for internet access on your boat?
You came in near the airport. Did you see planes landing?
Good question on Starlink. I think a lot of boaters are going that direction. We need to do some more research and figure out if it's a good fit for us. Yes, we saw lots of planes landing. Thanks for watching, Jim
How much fuel did that take from vancouver bc to San Fran
Thanks for watching. 382 Gallons to travel the 849 miles from Everett to San Francisco. The 382 gallons represents 17% of our fuel on board. Jim
Well done! Congratulations 🎉
