Tomorrow Never Dies 64 is a mod by TiJayFLY which is currently in a very early state. It features 10 levels and 2 bonuses, they're pretty short though which is why I'm doing all of them in one go.
You can download this mod here: n64vault.com/ge-campaigns:tomo...

This video is a very old WIP.
que version es ese yo tambien tengo varios de tema por favor me pasas esa version sabea por que me gusto esa cancion de labs
For a second I thought this was a game that I missed as a kid
Me too I was like I had goldeneye, world is not enough and perfect dark. What else did rare make?!
@PAB Rare didn't make World is not Enough. EA did.
lol same
@@pab1381check out goldfinger 64. Not nearly as good as goldeneye or iconic maps in my opinion but still If you liked goldeneye you may like goldfinger.
Moneypenny: "make sure to pull out quickly once the job is done"
I went all-out for Moneypenny’s innuendo 😂 I almost put for Stealth Boat, “it’s long, hard and full of seamen”
@@TiJayFLY savage
@@TiJayFLY You should! It's quite a good pun lol
@@TiJayFLY Austin Powers in Goldmember! Very shagadelic baby, YEAH!!!
"Be sure to pull out quickly once the job is done James"
That's right, always leave'em Shake'n, not stirred.
It's crazy how we live in a day an age where you can basically buy blank cartridges and download an import stuff like this into the cartridge and have a new game technically
And it's only getting better
Wow this is awesome. The Goldeneye modding community are one of those special communities with amazingly dedicated fans.
Could you imagine what other bond movies they could do in the Goldeneye engine i want to see Licence To Kill N64 or Casino Royale N64
@@meatpie7166 live and let die would be pretty cool too.
Cant forget the living daylights! Could u imagine the first mission getting to do that stealth sniper shot and escape with general koskov same with on her majesty’s secret service how fricken awesome would it be to infultrate and blow up ernst stavro blofeld’s mountain base or killing scaramanga from the man with the golden gun! So much potential, (I honestly think the ge devs missed the perfect opportunity for the final mission to be a face off against scaramanga rather then baron samedi)
@@Practicalinvestments yeah The Living Daylights and On Her Majesty's Secret Service would be awesome i just think Licence To Kill would be so cool just imagine the part where you would have to kill Franz Sanchez like at the end of that movie with the tanker truck chase sequence and there is actually The Spy Who Loved Me 64 its in development but you can play it right now I think there is going to be an extra level where it is The Man with the Golden Gun in the game and I also want to see the unofficial Sean Connery bond movie like Never Say Never Again 64 and Die Another Day 64
@@meatpie7166 honestly i think true bond fans really want them all 😂 and yeah i’ve seen the spy who loved me 64 the people developing that are doing amazing
21:02 man that scream from the rocket launcher is terrifyingly nostalgic. Hearing that sound on a multilayer game you knew you were deeeeeeeed.
Fun fact that Tomorrow Never Dies was originally considered the next Bond game for the 64 before ending up as Perfect Dark, a spiritual successor to Goldeneye.
TND later released as a PSX under a different company.
If only
well Rare declined the offer because they thought they were too invested in the Bond world so in exchange we got an even better game known as Perfect Dark ;)
@@Dash120z Also RARE was outbid by EA so they kept their prototype at the time which became Perfect Dark
@@Dash120z Perfect Dark would have been better as Tomorrow Never Dies.
Wrong. There was talk about developing Tommorow never dies and the rights were too expensive, rare made perfect dark separate to anything 007 dumb
Hey everyone! Thanks again to @Graslu00 for featuring this - great play though 😁
The version shown here is heavy WIP and will be released early next year. For now, you can download the latest public release from N64 Vault, linked in the description - it’s not quite as developed as the build shown here, but I hope it gives an idea of the game🙂
This mod is my small side project with some very much appreciated contributions from various talented people - my main focus is working on texture art as part of the TSWLM64 team.
Thank you all for your comments, and I’ll do my best to reply to as many as possible! 😎
Ps. Credit to MusicAl1250 for the background image used on the thumbnail 👍
EDIT December 2021: The final major version is now available, and can be downloaded from the link in the description!
The Goldeneye community never stop making amazing things,eh?
Please dedicate for this project like someone did before with goldfinger 64, the potential is very big!
@@titotech TND will always be smaller than something like TSWLM, but that’s kind of deliberate - I don’t want to distract attention or contributors from TSWLM :) I will continue to work on TND for the foreseeable future though!
@Cristiano dos Santos Gomes That’s greatly appreciated, thank you!
can't wait for the complete mod!
The music is cursed. Otherwise looks kinda fun, lol.
Most of the tracks are placeholder - the contributions by JJ and Johnny (Intro, Credits, Bazaar, Parkhaus, Press/Printworks, Volcano) and Bridge by Shiftclick are the only permanent additions so far. I also need to fix that note at the start of Volcano..!
21:46
@@FUBBA yup 😂 that’ll be fixed
I realise it's mostly the music that's tripping me out
20:15 A View to a Kill music was really good. They gotta make more like these
wish rare actually made this game back in 1998
Q tells Bond that he won't be needing any gadgets for the media press mission even though he supplied him with a cell phone loaded with gadgets in the movie, which Bond used all of here
I think one of the main reasons why goldeneye was such a huge hit is all the sound effects. Like pretty much every gun had a really satisfying sound. IMO a huge thing that can make or brake a game is the sound effects.
Hey everyone! The FINAL major version of Tomorrow Never Dies 64 is now available, with huge changes from the WIP build shown in this video.
There is a new video showing it on Graslu’s channel, and the download link is in the video description above :)
Can't wait for a final polished release, but the missions are too short.
The missions are too shyte you mean. Level design is terrible.
@@AD-kv9kj Levels have had some minor reworks for the upcoming release, but we've been focusing on other areas (music, bonus levels, fixes, models etc). The version after that will have different levels though.
@@TiJayFLY What was great about Goldeneye 64s levels was that they were mostly incredibly accurate to the actual film sets and locations with a lot of detail and cool objectives. The gun models need work too and the Walther P99 would have to be in there as he gets one in Saigon. You should also include the ability to screw silencers onto your Walthers whenever you need to - it's a simple addition with a lot of gameplay/stealth value.
About time we got the sequel on the N64.
Thanks a lot to the author
You’re welcome! I’m glad you like it
As levels go, these are more like rooms.
There’s a third bonus level coming which is much bigger :)
Looks promising, I hope it gets worked on until it's in a more finished state. I've been dreaming of a Tomorrow Never Dies game in the GoldenEye engine all my life.
Hope the music gets worked on also lol
It’s being actively worked on 👍
As for music, most of the tracks are placeholder - the contributions by JJ and Johnny (Intro, Credits, Bazaar, Parkhaus, Press/Printworks, Volcano) and Bridge by Shiftclick are the only permanent additions so far.
Very nice introduction to this early build, can't wait to see some progress.
I can tell the Moby 007 theme was an inspiration for the music
Yes, Johnny Thunder converted the Moby theme for me :)
Wow. That Tomorrow Never Dies theme at the end though? Perfect!
Great work and playthrough.
"I mean F... him who needs him" Nice use of that outtake
Genius !
I love the Goldeneye community they’re just amazing 🤩
Amazing - I had no idea this was being made! But ya know what - I'm not gonna watch this, I want to play through the game 'blind' once it's finished and released. Incredible to see the amazing modding work still being done.
@James Cooper It's under constant development. New release soon, which is a huge improvement on the current public version and also changes a lot of stuff seen in this video. After that we'll get some different, bigger levels in there - and I think by then you may be satisfied :)
Wow! This game looks easy and interesting as you play through. Can't wait to play it myself.
Mission: Photograph VIPs at terrorist arms bazaar
Bond: Targets verified. Commencing hostilities.
This is incredibly awesome the more goldeneye mods the better thx for this
Thanks!
I just made the Intro, the printers and parkhaus themes
What's the format and size limitations for audio?
@@onethewritetothink idk
@@jjmh247 lmao
@@onethewritetothink MIDI, anything goes as long as the instruments you use are in the sound bank. It’s technically possible to include “ real” music - see TSWLM
Must admit, the TND game would've been a hell of a lot better if Nintendo did it. The N64 version of TWINE was better than the PS1 version I know that.
This is soo exciting if it weren’t for the copyrights being expensive this game probably woulda happend for n64 but super glad u guys made this! I still play original goldeneye once a week
“Be sure to pull out quickly once the job is done, James”
It's like a glimpse into a better timeline.
I love how the Party mission complete and they are still barraging Bond with bullets
"What happened?" "Uh, boss... you can't see the shootout over there?" ;)
The Tomorrow Never Dies theme at the end had me cracking up, but I enjoyed it
This is excellent. Can't wait to play it as well.
This version should be out early next year, with a few more additions :)
It has potential, but there's obviously alot of work to be done. Hopefully TiJayFLY finishes this all the way through into a good looking mod similar to GF64 or TSWLM64.
Thank you 😁 It’s actively being worked on :)
PS1 Tomorrow never dies was good. Looking forward to seeing what this mod is like.
We need more people like you man, the 007 game community is so divided, there’s the “Goldeneye True Fans Only Community” and “the rest who like other inferior 007 games bleh”
My favorites were goldeneye 64, TWINE 64, Agent under fire, and night fire. It's not that I don't like the other, I was just used to James bond video games being FPS and I liked it that way. Though I did enjoy Everything or nothing
I have. Been waiting. My whole life. For this
Now u have it
Love the use of the Moby cover of the Bond theme.
That "A View to A Kill" theme N64 arrangement tho.
Yet again amazed with the music
The vast majority of the soundtrack in this video is placeholder. We have a fully composed OST coming for the next public release, due early this year. Check out a preview of the music here: czcams.com/video/MxqvD6pXuYA/video.html
Nice to know that it's WIP. These missions are a little too short and straightforward. But it's a good start
New version due soon 👍
:D Man, that was fantastic!
Congradulations for 20000 subs
🎉 Thank you!!
Be sure to pull out quickly once the job is done, James. Haha.
You should totally do a
Bonus mission on this or any other goldeneye mod of the crocodile escape scene in live & let die
This is phenomenal! The legacy lives on with these incredible mods
this is fantastic!
There’s a new, much improved version coming very soon indeed
Finally a mod where Moneypenny's dialogue is done right :)
Bet the multiplayer is insane!😁 Awesome job!
The final version is now available - and it has multiplayer with custom maps, characters, guns and a ton of new music. A playthrough video of the final version is linked in the description of this video, and the game itself is available on N64Vault.com :)
I’m all for the general idea of this!
music is kind of earrapey, and it's not super detailed, but it looks pretty fun
Most of the tracks are placeholder - the contributions by JJ and Johnny (Intro, Credits, Bazaar, Parkhaus, Press/Printworks, Volcano) and Bridge by Shiftclick are the only permanent additions so far.
@@TiJayFLY Oh, ok. I liked all of those.
@Delinquent Road Runner ok
Dang thats a cool mod idea
This is banging
i fucking love what the hacking community has been doing with goldeneye
This whole thing seemed really unimpressive until the Saigon Streets mission with the rideable bike. That was decent.
Glad Bond was nice enough to leave one person alive for that missile to kill.
Very impressive
🤩 OH MY GOD, HE MADE IT A VIEW TO A KILL!! 20:05
Edit: And You Only Live Twice!! 21:24
God I HOPE for A View To A Kill game. It’d be awesome to see Grace Jones and Christopher Walken and hear that killer theme. A guy can hope!
This movie doesn't really lend itself to a game, many levels are extremely brief.
Que brutal hermano, y la música es fenomenal. Animo y saludos
Gracias :)
Gracias, yo hice el tema de la Intro, Printworks y Parkhaus :P
I could play bond game like this all day
Goldfinger Mod blows this one out of the water
Yup that’s a much more developed product from a large team.
The crushing sound is so juicy and crispy.
I give 2 to 3 years before it's done. Hopefully we see 10 more levels.
I’m actively working on new levels and changes to existing ones - there will be at least one additional bonus level in the next release :)
@@TiJayFLY good to hear. Here's to Goldeneye and Goldfinger getting a new member.
@@frankseward7017 yes a goldmember indeed, Austin powers.
@@frankseward7017 I love GOOOOOOOOOOLD!
Amazing! The PS1 game was pretty mediocre. This is what we should have gotten. It'd be awesome if someone remade The World Is Not Enough into a Goldeneye mod.
I THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME 😩🙏🏼😩🙏🏼😩🙏🏼
Nice 🔥
I always imagined what would a game of tomorrow never died would look like if rare actually made one, maybe its not exactly what it would be like but its still very cool, cant wait
Man, that intro is legitimately dope.
Thank JJ for that, he did a great job!
@@TiJayFLY I know people are bagging on the music a bit, but I gotta admit, the intro at least feels like a rap beat, and I appreciate that.
@@tarransanders21 I think people are mostly bagging on the placeholder tracks, which is fine as they’re going to be swapped out anyway.
The permanent tracks so far are the contributions by JJ and Johnny - Intro, Credits, Bazaar, Parkhaus, Press/Printworks, Volcano (which needs a note fix) and Bridge by Shiftclick
The music is sick could use a lil touch up tho lol
Most of the music is currently placeholder - the contributions by JJ and Johnny (Intro, Credits, Bazaar, Parkhaus, Press/Printworks, Volcano) and Bridge by Shiftclick are the only permanent additions so far.
That awful note at the start of Volcano will be fixed 👍
I’d like On Her Majesty’s Secret Service as the next movie based mod after The Spy Who Loved Me. I also love how you murder guards while listening to Duran Duran and Nancy Sinatra
Kubrick style 😉
7 min in to the game, and its already 1000 times better than the ps1 version. Some of the music needs choppy, but others flow just perfectly.
Thank you!

Q Branch: “No gadgets or guns here, old boy.”
4:24
Me: “Riiight...”
🤣 “apart from the remote mine you smuggled in”
ACH STAMPER, Quit yelling in my ear, ja?
Dude when the View to a Kill Duran Duran music kicked in I about shat my fucking pants. Its amazing. As a child I always envisioned a level on the Golden Gate Bridge as being something similar to the cradle. I bet so many people played Goldeneye and imagined other Bond films in the style of the game.
Can’t wait to play this again on my Switch
Is there a 64 emulator for Switch?
Awesome mod
Thank you! 😁
You complete the whole mission you played like like the movie scene you needle it
Oh my god this is amazing why can’t they bring this out for real
I was wondering when someone was gonna do this!
1:34 - Hehehe I see what you did there, Moneypenny…
Amazing and the view to a kill synthesized music and level is amazing too. Great job to whomever did this, but is there any way to make the levels longer than 7 seconds, with more challenges and objectives to complete on each level please? Thank you to the golden eye community for all that they continue to do. They are 100% much better than the brown eye community that I am currently a part over, because all of those developers are really shitty...
Yup, it’s a WIP - new version due soon with a new soundtrack and feature enhancements. The version after that will be focused on bigger, better levels :)
That ending... Tanaka has no comprehension of personal space lol
That’s the first time I’ve seen him run through Bond 🤣 I guess it’s an emulator thing
I love how wai Lin is just Natalya with black hair
We had custom models added to later versions (linked in the pinned comment). This is a very old WIP with placeholder models.
Awesome Graslu00!!
Damn you, modders, I can barely predict your movements!
Now that I think about it, it's kind of surprising they never made a sequel to Goldeneye on N64. It was such a popular game. One of my all time favorites as a kid. No game at the time could beat going to your friends house and doing 4 player multi-player. It was the best.
Well there's Perfect Dark, which you could say it's a sequel, just not story-wise.
@@Graslu00 Yea, also strangely a game I never played. Not sure how it got past my radar. I think when it came out I was getting into computer games.
@@YouTw1tFace Yeah it released pretty late on the N64's lifespan. You can at least play it on PC nowadays with mouse & keyboard at 60FPS, I have a tutorial in the description if you want to.
@@Graslu00 OK cool thanks. I also compose music. Let me know if you need anything. czcams.com/channels/lxigY4TtKuD4DEzA6OIjNw.html
@@YouTw1tFace Hey Chris - I’m not currently looking for composers as I have a few already, but will drop you a message if a gap appears 👍
Nice.
This is the Tomorrow Never Dies we need. Originally Rare DID plan this game, but of course EA beat them to it and we got the PS1 game.
Rare didn't want to work on it it's them who denied the offer actually. Then Nintendo let EA buy the rights.
@@Graslu00 Oh. That's what really happened? I misread that.
Yeah. There's a very interesting read about it here - www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-05-22-perfect-dark-the-oral-history-of-an-n64-classic
Great game ❤
Thanks, we're actively working on it. The current public release is a big improvement on the video, and our final version will be completely different!
9:08 it seems like the guards could possibly shoot you during the opening cutscene?
Anyway looks like a fun mod. im looking forward to the full game.
IIRC, I set Bond to invincible or something during this scene :)
20:16 "Dance into the fiiiiire!"
This guy went 10% in on level design, and 110% balls to the wall on the music. 😆
This is an old version, check the final one in the description.
Pull out quickly James!
The beggining of tower was so bond-ish. He chopped the goon then picked up the knife and threw it in dudes hearth. Shot another dude in the large room, then shot the other dude and ducked behind him lol
I remember this game on the PS1
