this is a really useful tip for surviving in the nether, use blue mushrooms to make a perimeter. the hoglins are afraid of them

You can also farm mushrooms btw it takes forever but you can just place one in a dark room and itll eventually spread and grow more mushrooms out but there has to be no other mushrooms in a 3x3 area of the first one i think?

Tip for anyone who wants to do this:
Basalt is important in building.
It has high enough blast resistance to fend off Ghast fireballs, and it's fireproof!
Edit: also if you want Nether Brick, just smelt Netherrack in a furnace.

The wisest choice is to make lots of wood or stone pickaxe while in a playthrough even if you have a better pic so you can save that pickaxe for blocks that can't be mined by the stone or wood you only need a stable resource method but due to water being unobtainable stone will eventually run out same with wood i don't remember there ever being nether saplings

You can farm gold from pigmen and get infinite blackstone from trading. The crimson and warped fungi are sapplings and you can grow them with bonemeal

The only thing I know about this guy was that I had to find out what I wanted and a lot more than I could do it to find a great guy in a game and a great deal to find a way out of the way he is going to get into the world and you will have a chance at a good start to the next game in a decade or so he is a great player in a decade or two

You never really notice how much of playing survival is just mining (and walking through long tunnels you've mined) until you have to edit together a bunch of recordings of you playing survival.
I like how Luke finds it easier to go to a nether fortress for the nether brick instead of just smelting netherrack and then making the bricks

For some reason I never known you could smelt netherrack since july
Both methods is just as easy, If you find a fortress, you will get bricks for days. If you smelt it, you can use lava buckets as fuel
I think the fortress was the pick because it had blaze powder for potion table. Man ate like 3/4 fire resist potions a day. o.o”
