@@neveragain7523I think more in the context of the nether which has multiple mobs, biomes, structures, etc, the end is relatively lacking. it's ofc better than jack shit but there's lots of opportunity for expansion

The absolute torture of having shulker shells and chests in your inventory the whole playthrough, but never having access to a crafting table
That’s where playing bedrock makes living in the end have a lot more options we get crafting tables in the end cities

I don't know how you did this. I tried playing end only with trees, some seeds, and dirt. Even then it was super hard.

even without a tree, just a single crafting table would make the difference! you could make anvils, use the diamonds to make better armor and tools, make slabs or glass panes. Even just a single crafting table at your house would fix so much stress.

That's an interesting idea, but I feel like end wood would almost make it TOO livable. The end is supposed to be a very barren and unforgiving environment. I would prefer a new structure that contains a crafting table, rather than a new wood type to craft it. Maybe there could also be a new mob that drops sticks, or a new end plant that could be crafted into sticks, for the ability to make tools.

This is a cool concept. If someone griefed on your world, you could banish them to the end with nothing, and the only way to escape is eventually beating the ender dragon.

This was the first 100 days that came out after I found this channel.
14:55 "why do these end city have beet seeds in the chests?"
Beet seeds were added in update 0.8, however, you had to travel long distances into unloaded chunks at a time were horses didn't exist just to find the seeds, so when the ender update came out (version 1.0) they added beet seeds to the end city chests so that players could more easily find them

I don't see anyone else making this suggestion, but what if you allowed yourself just one day on the overworld to gather as many resources as you could and then return to the end? Sure there wouldn't be much of an end goal, but could be interesting to see what you could make with just a day of resources in the end.
late reply, but i feel that takes away from the inherent appeal of the challenge. i'm currently trying to survive the void platform, and even though there's a 90% chance it's straight up not possible i wouldn't want to give myself anything because the point is seeing how far you can go with JUST the things provided. in short a challenge is best when it's challenging

How to do this :
Kill endermen to get ender pearls to teleport onto the obsidian pillars and break the end crystals. Then, punch the dragon when it’s perched until it dies. Use an ender pearl to teleport through the end gateway and onto the end islands. Then, loot end cities for gear and tools.
Easy, right?
I mean, technically, you could punch obsidian until it breaks to clime up to each crystal, break them, then punch the dragon to death. Might take 100 real world days, but possible.
